Catch and Grease

Man this week has been tough, the 95+ degree temps aren't helping lol today I caught four bass on 4 different lures, I just couldn't put anything together at all. That's pretty much how its been all week, how about all of yall? Catching some good fish?

Well I'm out on the lake right now and there is yet another problem... Another fuel leak somewhere, guess its gonna be another day the trolling motor is gonna have to work double duty lol...

Yeah I noticed the loss of the delete feature too... I'm still having no problem uploading pictures through photo bucket though.

I had the original galaxy nexus and after awhile the battery was terrible... It was okay when I first got it but after a couple years it was unbearable, that was six versions ago though I'm sure the nexus 6 is waaay better...

Yeah that's about how it goes haha... Its weird seems like I can't get bit at all on small worms some days out here but they will eat a big worm like candy...

Just got a new phone for my birthday, the droid turbo... Its awesome, there is only two things I care a whole lot about in a phone and that's battery life and the camera. This bad boy was at 100% 15 hours ago, ive been using it a good bit all day and it still hasn't hit 20%, and the 21 megapixel camera is great. If you like a phone with a good battery I'd reccomend it, it also chargers very fast that's why they call it the turbo I geuss lol First fish picture with it! Haha

I like how it doesn't name a specific Abu, it just says "Abu Garcia baitcasting reel" lol!

Yeesh some of the bags they talked about are insane.... I wanna go to a lake that you can catch a 25lb bag and still not be in the top 25 I'm surprised lake Seminole got as high as it did, might be planning a trip there soon. Good read!

Good deal, a lake I fish that's on a military base has huge grass carp in it. I wanna try to catch one eventually...

Its probably blood, just like bass I catch bowfin with bleeding tailfins all the time.

Try a zoom speed craw rigged weightless and fished by just tossing it out and reeling it back on top buzzing it across the surface.

These lipless baits from academy are just plain out awesome at a great price, pretty much all their hardbaits are freaking awesome. Their squarebills are great too

Turned out that the starter was stuck for some reason, I went out and barely pushed on the starter then it started right up....

Isn't that the whole point of a dual purpose battery, why would it be a bad idea? I geuss its probably a better idea to have a battery for each but I couldn't afford it. So I just got one dual purpose.

I made sure it was in neutral and the cut-off switch was in the on poistion but I'll double check... That'd be funny if that was all it was. Thanks for the help, ill try what you told me to do and see if I can get any more clues

The battery is brand new and dual purpose, I use it to run the trolling motor and the engine. But this morning the battery was fully charged and I hadn't even pluged the trolling motor in yet and the problems started... I'm pretty sure we have a volt meter laying around, and yes I would love to find out this is just a loose wire or something. I guess when my grandpa gets home later I'll get him to help me out because he is good with electrical mumbo jumbo...

Also, when I turn the key I can here a click I assume is coming from the solenoid, could this mean my starter is bad?

Okay so my engine is a 25HP mercury from 1980 I believe, it seems like you cant even pull start it unless the key is turned, well my engine was working fine the day before yesterday and now this morning it turned once or twice then it wouldn't even try to start.... The electric choke also went out so I was maybe thinking that the connection to where the key goes is bad, what else could it be? I'm just looking for any possible things it could be, I know the list is probably long and this isn't the greatest description but I'm just trying to brainstorm... I replaced the sparkplugs, all the fuel lines, fixed multiple fuel leaks, replaced the solenoid, and completely cleaned out the carburetor and replaced all the gaskets. After all that I was so glad I got it running but it seems like everytime I get it running the next day I go out something else craps out. Its pretty frustrating lol.... Edit: oh and BTW it won't pull start ethier, it won't even try to start with the key or rope.

Do you have matted grass on the lakes you fish? I've been catching a ton flipping and its been high 90's all week...

I'd take you spinning combo or the rod with 12# mono.

On the days I actually catch 5 keepers my bag would probably be 8-12 lbs on average at the lake fish regularly.

I don't know the exact specifications on my battery but its a dual purpose battery I'm using for starting and running the trolling motor, its a 12v. I was thinking of getting a 12v 2amp charger, will that work? Do amps matter that much or will a 2 amp charger work for most batterys?

Lol, I bought an impeller I just haven't put the new one in yet. I haven't even looked at the one currently in the engine, figured I'd go ahead and replace it no matter what though.
