  1. Alright I stop posting pics LOL with these last couple caught on the 8" Savage Gear 3D Line Thru Trout!!
  2. Here's a couple more I caught on the 8" Savage Gear 3D Line Thru Trout!! The small lake I was fishing is just full of this size also! The forage in this small lake is Bluegill, Crawdads, Frogs and other smaller Bass, but they are liking this Line Thru Trout, so don't worry about throwing a Trout if you don't have any in your lake, they still bite them!! In fact one of the LM I caught had a crawdad in the back of its throat and still wanted the 8" Savage!! My son was getting them pretty good also on the Line Thru !!
  3. Hi my name is Chris, I have been on a couple of swimbait forums and have used this site in the past for it’s articles. I love fishing for Bass from a 12’ Hobie Pro Anger along with banking it at times and for Steelhead fishing I mostly bank fish unless a buddy invites me to drift in his boat, LOL!!
  4. Hi my name is Chris and new to this forum even though I've read articles from this site which is great, Got the 8" Savage Gear 3D Line Thru Trout at the local Outdoor Pro Shop in Rohnert Park, CA. I got the Dark Trout in slow sink and moderate sink because that was the only color available at the time and water I was fishing had some color to it at 2' visibility at the most! The baits do have an odor to them when you open the container but it didn't seem to bother the fish with a little scent put on since I got fish on it the 1st outing. Mostly solid hook ups with the 8" Savage Gear 3D Line Thru Trout with only 1 fish lost so far. I think the bait works better on a little faster retrieve also (but I've also heard that can vary some from bait to bait). I also really like the line thru rigging (especially from shore). I did have an eye came off on the 1st fish caught using the moderate sink so I just sharpie a black dot and kept having fun catching fish. The paint seems to hold up better so far then other similar type of baits also. Sink rates on the slow sink is like a ~ROF3 and the moderate sink is more of a ~ROF7 IMO. Had luck with getting fish on both the slow and moderate sink on the initial drop before starting my retrieve, twitching slightly before starting a retrieve and stopping during the retrieve, along with a straight retrieve and at times a retrieve along with a pause with letting sink, so basically I worked different retrieves based on what the fish wanted that day!! I should mention I used a Doblyns 806 rod with a Lew's Super Duty Reel and P-Line 25 lb for my setup that's hard to see in that small picture! Here’s a 6 lb 2oz and a 5 lb 15 oz Largemouth I've caught on the 8" Savage Gear 3D Line Thru Trout slow and moderate sink!!
