i am buying a phenix x10 crankbait rod. i am planing to use it for squarbills and jerkbaits and the occasional topwater. which reel do you think is good for it? i was thinking of getting the diawa t3 thats on sale for $200 bucks on TW. thanks.

Phenix composite crank x10 is a sweet rod. Very versatile.

Lake trinity is a good place caught lots of quality bass on strike king square bills in early summer. There is Mike Esler guide service up there but that's about all.
