Baitcast Reel That Did It For You
Quantum PT... can't remember the exact model. It was the first $100+ piece of gear I ever bought. Up until that point the only baitcasters I had ever used were my dads $30 specials. This reel changed my opinion (wrong as it was) about baitcasters. Then..... it and the KVD rod it was paired with were stolen. Still ticks me off to this day.

Best Fluorocarbon Line? And Recommendations On Knot.
I like 12# InvizX and use the palomar. I also began the search for a new knot when I started using fluorocarbon.... then I found a video of KVD where he said that he uses the palomar w/ fluoro. I stuck with it. I take my time and use a lot of spit. No issues thus far.

Lets See Your Biggest Fish!
I don't have a pic of my PB (it's somewhere on an old cell phone)... but it was an 8lb 6oz post spawn large mouth caught on a fat free bomber crankbait in citrus shad. I do, however, have a pic of my best so far this year. 5lbs flat caught on a 5" baby bass Senko.

All The Different Lews Reels
I have 4... Tournament Speed Spool (Spinners & Topwater) very smooth reel for a decent price... really like the braking system. SuperDuty (Pitching & Frogs) not into umbrella rigs yet, but great for pitching big jigs. Tournament Pro (Soft Plastics) If I had to stick w/ one Lew's, it would be the TP. BB1 Pro (Cranking) Does exactly what everyone says... great reel. I love my two MSB reels. IMO either would be a great choice for an "all around" reel.

What's Your Cranking Rod?
I don't have a ton of experience with other rods for comparison, but I really like my Veritas Winch.

Crankbait Rod
I picked up a winch a few weeks back. Really like it so far.
