I am fairly new to fishing. I bought a baitcaster last year and I like it a lot, but was thinking of buying a spinner as well. I have the baitcaster on a one piece rod and was thinking of getting something 2-piece to leave in my car to go right after work. Can anyone comment on these combos? I just picked one up. They are on sale for $40. I had some cabelas gift cards to use.

Kind of do need one now. The one I am currently using was a freebie that has the tip broke off.

Can anyone comment on the XPS Extreme rod vs the carbonlite that comes with the Pro Qualifier combo?

I am looking to buy a rod for a baitcaster. They are same price at Wal-Mart, not sure which to go with. I saw somewhere that the shock series is for braid? I don't think I will be using that to start off with. Would I still be ok with the Shock series or should I be looking at the regular Lightning Rod?

Is this feature available on the mobile site as well?
