Try to take your prop off, if it's really hard to come of, it could be your clutch. Have you hit any stumps or anything recently? I truly am sorry to hear about your Dad. My mom passed away 10 months ago. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

Smaller bass will smoke a 3/8 oz jig too. Your bass, most of the time, will be larger though. Jigs catch big bass!

Your stories sound just like mine. Two buddies and I went with a guide on a small boat like your taking about, it was amazing. So much fun! We went 35 miles out fishing by oil rigs in 20 feet of water. Y'all will have far more fun this coming trip, I promise.

Just like above, go with the 175. That's what I have, 60hp. Haven't had a single problem with it. I duck hunt out of it too haha.

Fish oils, flax seed are simple to take and will help some. Contrast baths help a ton. 15 minutes ice bath, or just cold water, drain it and then do hot water. Epsom salt in the hot water helps also. Exercise will help get blood to the area too. This is what I take and do daily, works wonders for me and my training.

Pflueger supreme. Seriously, amazingly good reel for $100. Plus you will have roughly $45 left over!

I have been lurking on this site for awhile now. I would be honored to join y'all in this challenge! I just read this challenge today and was extremely happy to see so many people joining in and being excited about helping children out. I have had the joy of taking kids fishing and helping them catch their first fish. The joy in their eyes and excitement is amazing! I mainly fish Ross Barnett reservoir in Mississippi, the bass fishing there is not the best. I will donate $10 for every 3#+ I wish I could have known about this earlier!
