Confused as to what this is "attempting" to solve? But hey if it ain't broke don't fix it

I recently broke an Abu vendetta. Instead of using it as a lure retriever I would like to swap its Fuji reel seat with another seat with a cracked locknut. Can I do this? If so is there a video to help me take it apart anyone knows of? Thanks!

This subject was deeply discussed just a few weeks ago. I don't think it's necessary to re visit this, all it will do is start a battle of opinions. I don't see a need to discuss my opinion, because I highly doubt anyone is listening to mine or anyone else's opinion on this topic. Even though many let us down, anglers should have the faith in other anglers to make the right decisions, and it should be left at that.

Its not one of my main rods thankfully, but it's a classic bill dance quantum American series. They don't make quality like that anymore and I just hoped it may be something little I could fix

As the title says the reel seat on one of my rods is slipping. It gets tight but then if I keep tightening it once it hits a certain point it gets loose again. Bottom line is there anything I can do to fix it?

The rod is a Johnny Morris 7 ft mh carbonlite with micro guides. Thanks for the input! I have not experimented with the knot much and it could just take time to get better at, but if anyone has had a similar situation it would be great to know! Thanks again!

The title says it all. Been trying to use the Alberto knot to attach the flouro to the braid. Does anyone have any suggestions or is it just difficult with the micro guides? Any help is good help, thanks!!

I recently upgraded the bearings (hawgtech) in my 200g7 and 50e. Both have had noticeable distance gains, yet the 200g screams while 50e is nearly silent. I do run braid on the g while flouro on the e, is it just the braid or should I be concerned? Another point that I'm ashamed to say is that when I changed the bearings I dropped one of the ABEC-7s and could Have gotten it confused with one of the stock bearings.... Would there be any way to tell? Any input will help, and thanks as always! Glad to know there is a large community of people that love fishing as much as I do.... And as usual I wish everyone tight lines

Will the drop of oil affect performance enough to matter?

Anyone have any go to baits that are effective for heavy grass/weeds? Know there are big fish just tough to find through thick vegetation. Any help will be great!

Me and a buddy ordered a few nice poppers from bass pro. Decided to go night fishing to test them out. He didn't use his lure holder and the only the the popper caught was the side of my face on the walk back.
