  1. Thanks! I agree with the ponds turning on earlier than others. I mostly fish ponds earlier in the year then head to rivers for spawn and summer. Once I fix my tilt/trim issue I will definitely be hitting up the nanticoke, choptank, pocomoke, and hopefully the upper bay.
  2. Headed out to portsville pond just outside Bethel, DE for a few hours. Water clarity was stained from the recent rains and water temp was rising. Managed to catch a few with buddy, we were throwing a rattletraps and chatterbait (slow on bottom) all over the stumps and sunken logs that litter the pond. Overall was a good day ended up with 9 total with my buddy catching 3 and myself with 6 even without any nice fish I haven't been out this early in years. For some reason the images wont load even though they fit the criteria.

  4. Killens and Trap tie in my book, and then Lums but that is because I've never fished there..
  5. Been going out to Tuckahoe with my Gambler recently. Frog, Senko, and Dbombs have been working great nice little body of water with a long feeder. The fish I've caught have all been pretty decent too. Never really see or hear anyone going out there. I may make a trip to Wye Mills Lake soon went out there in June and had a decent day water was nasty pea soup though untill you got way in the back..
  6. Leonards mill pond!!!!!!!
  7. On the Eastern shore Denton Rod and Tackle are having a Snakehead Tournament largest fish wins. There are certain rules that I can't remember at the moment but you can find them on their FB page.
  8. Hey guys I have been bass fishing since for 10 years now and found this site and immediately began reading some really good info. I have fished in alot of club and open tournaments but due to work I can no longer fish like I used due to work. I mainly fish lower DE ponds, lakes and rivers with Chipmans pond being my favorite and the Nanticoke and Broadkill rivers being the only two rivers I have ever fished (Missipilion sucks). I mainly throw soft plastics, jigs, spinners, and a buzzbait, I use St. Croix Mojo Bass series rods paired with Quantum reels and Seaguar line Powerpro for braid. My current boat is a 12ft jon boat hopefully upgrading to a 17ft ranger soon (fingers crossed) look forward to learning all I can to better my skills.
