High numbers of young smallmouth bass were collected, along with high numbers of adults; indicating that this fishery is only going to improve."

My sources in Rogers suggested the following: Lost Bridge Resort and Marina Coppermine Lodge Whispering Hills Resort Ventris Trails End Resort Beaver Lake View Resort Starkey area The only ones close to Eureka is Beaver Lake View Resort and the Starkey area. He said that Riverview and Spider Creek are solid choices with Spider Creek getting the edge. He did recommend fishing on the dam side of the lake, although clear the water level and color are more consistent.

Eureka would be a better option than Rogers cuz it's close to the lake. I do some work with a contractor out of Rogers that has a large cabin on the lake (used to be ***** house ),I might be able to get some suggestions where to stay. Eureka does have many bars and restaurants. If we decide on beaver I can tap into some resources and get some good info.

I've always wanted to fish the strip pits, but have heard the boat ramps can be kind of shady. Of course power for battery charging is a must. Beaver is the only one of the choices I've ever been on and that was with a guide that a vendor set up. All good choices and I'll defer. Hopefully it works out with my schedule so I can attend.
