Now that guy wanted to fish!

Finally decided to register. Lots of good info. Bass fished a little growing up in south florida, really had no clue what I was doing. Preferred salt water. Been up here in nw florida for a long time. Just started bass fishing this past spring. Strictly from shore. Finally got a jon boat. Hope to be able to use it soon. Me and my son fish when we can, mainly inshore in the kayaks. Reds and specks. Came across a great little spot we have had some really good luck at. It has me hooked on bass right now. The heat and humidity has been terrible the past couple of weeks, so fishing has been put on the back burner for now. Learned a lot from this site and many others, and of course youtube. Stocked up on some swim baits and swim jigs. Wow, all I can say. You almost can't have any more fun when the fish are biting! Bought me and my boy our first bait cast combos, and yes, I was the weird dude in his yard practicing. Have really gotten the hang of it, looking to invest in a better quality set up this year.
