Spook Fishing Questions
With the spook its all about the sideways glide, tying a rapala knot or loop knot really helps that sideways motion. Its kind of a tricky knot but it definitely helps free up the spook to get sideways. I'm pretty sure the super spook is the original, and if they want something smaller there is a spook Jr, which still casts pretty good. WAtch out, I know some anglers who are addicted to this style of fishing and it's almost all they throw.

Where Do You Do Your Best?
Laydowns and shade lines have been producing the best for me, using a baby boo jig or a tx rig worm. In the shade lines a weightless dinger or senko has been the ticket with the occasional crankbait hit

Plans Are Being Made
If you are going to either place you might wanna try to hit some inshore saltwater as well. From Orlando you are about 45 mins to an hour from the mosquito lagoon and north Indian river. If you are sticking to bass only then the Kissimmee chain of lakes, Harris chain, and st. Johns river are all about an hour from Orlando. Live shiners are the way to go if you are lookin for consistent 5 pounders, and unless you end up in a super clear lake 10-12 mono or medium braid to a leader is the way to go.

What Are Good Wormin Rods?
If you don't wanna break the bank, those Shakespeare Micro series rods are solid, I've been using the 6'6" spinning rod a lot lately and it's working well for me, even when dragging a couple 3.5 pounders out of some laydowns.

Trickworm Help
The baby bass and rainbow trout colors work great for me in the river's, either shakeyhead style or with the arkie u heads in 1/8 or 3/16. That real quiet splashdown is the ticket with these.

I'm A Knucklehead
Haha had a similar experience on the little Tennessee fishing for Brown bass, another fisherman told me the spook was the way to go. Even though it's not my strength I tried anyways and got nothing till it got blazing hot so I went to the yum dinger and hit some shade lines and ended up with a decent amount of fish for the day. Guess I should sleep in and skip the early morning topwater bite... and just wait till it's hot and hit the shady tree lined banks.

If You Could Only Have One Lure... What Would It Be?
Ol monster in California 420, tx rig with a fish boss 3/8th swing head jig. Worked on LM in the lake and pond and the brown beasts in the rivers also like it. So do the bartrams even though most of them are smaller than the worm itself, haha love catch in those mini bruisers.

Only 3 Baits Allowed
1.Zoom ol monster green pumpkin, biffle hard head 5/16 2.SK bitsy flip 1/4 watermelon green with green pumpkin Craw trailer 3.rebel crawdad, medium size, nestrobber. Haha man it is tough to narrow it down to three, I mostly fish light tackle in rivers for bartrams/ redeye and these have been pretty consistent the last two summers. The yum dinger and trick worm almost make the cut

New From Ne Georgia
Hey everybody, glad to be here, after reading the epic jig thread I had to join up. I do most of my fishing on the chattooga river chasing redeye(batrams bass)and largemouth in some of the ponds on forest service land over in SC, and up in NC for smallmouth in the little t and tuckaseegee. Even though I don't have a boat and the bass up here are kinda small (3.5 lm and a 14" bartrams are best catches of the summer) I have a lot of fun reading about something new on here and then trying on the river.
