Whitetail deer for me, never been turkey hunting, but I want to try it this spring.

Surpriser, I noticed and had the same occurrences about the schooling fish "switching" bait preferences. I start with a Fluke for top water, after 2 casts of no hits; I go to a spoon, then a crank bait. Works pretty good 90% of the time for me. Then it’s time to move somewhere else.

Welcome Kim, frogs are fun, they are my wife's favorite to fish with, just run them along the banks especially in the weeds! Watch some live frog videos and try to mimic that. Good luck!

Hello all, I am a recent retired Warrant Officer out of the Army of 20 years, I haven't had much time to do all the fun stuff like fish and hunt for a while, so been catching up best I can. I grew up in West Virginia and now live in Georgia. Hope to get a lot of helpful information and maybe provide some too. I mainly fish the Clark Hill/Strom Thurmond Lake areas, but I am up for a good river fishing trip any day!
