Better Castability
The moderate fast will load up a little more too, increasing distance a tad.

Daiwa Tatula
Weird. I switch between my Tatulas and Curado Is and don't have any issues.

Shimano 200E Vs Shimano Curado I
Shimano lied. They made something cheaper, and raised the price to increase profits. The backlash they got for the Curado G that wasn't bad at all IMO, is what made them do a 180 with the Curado I. Shimano took a beating with the Curado G from loyal fans so they needed something to redeem them. That is the Curado I. Just my opinion anyway.

Warped Worm's
Nothing beats a good old Zoom U Tail or a 7 inch Power Worm. I do like Rage Tail Anacondas, but the durability sucks and they don't catch any more fish than the Zoom or Power Worms so I stopped buying them. Big fan of Culprit too.

Quantum Or Abu Garcia?
Agreed. Daiwa or Shimano for the win.

Daiwa Tatula
Agreed. Even TackleTour wasn't impressed with the Type R. The regular Tatula can be had for around $90 if you look hard enough. That's a steal. I've toyed with the idea of ditching my Curado Is because the Tatula is so impressive.

Shimano 200E Vs Shimano Curado I
The Curado I delivers the same, if not a little better performance than a Chronarch E series, though I prefer the set it and forget VBS system found on the Chronarchs. You can't go wrong either way IMO, but the Curado I can be found for around $155.

Lews Or Shimano
I'm with you on that. If you look hard enough, you can find them for around $90 shipped. That is an absolute steel for the quality and performance packed into that reel.

Need A New Reel!! Maybe A Rod?
Unless you just wanna splurge, the $200 price point is the sweet spot I feel. The Curado I and Tatula will serve you just as well as a $300 reel would.

Need A New Reel!! Maybe A Rod?
For the reel, get a Tatula. Killer deals to be had on a killer reel. The Curado I is a good choice as well.

Save Money On Plastics
I like to fish Zoom plastics, so I go to excessiveoutdoors.com and get them for $1.60 a pack. All types of Zoom plastics there for that price.

Backlashing W/ Chronarch Ci4
The Infinity SVS system isn't set it and forget it like the VBS system was. It's not bad though.

Hard Baits In The Fall
I love lipless cranks and DT6s in the fall. While I mainly fish hard baits in the fall, I will still throw a D Bomb on a TX rig or a biffle bug. Craw type baits work very well in the fall here in TN.

You really stuck your foot on that fish????

Split Shot Rig
Z Man saw tails on a split shot rig are killer.

Lipless Cranks Are About To Get Hot!
I can't wait till the water cools here. On Douglas Lake the squarebill bite is on, but the water is still in the 80s. We have some cooler weather heading our way in the next few days though, so that's encouraging that the bite will be on soon. Chili Craw Red Eye Shad and Chartreuse Baitfish rake them in for me.

M Pack Jigs
Try some *** jigs. Trust me. Awesome.

Soft Bait Aggravation.
YES! Not bad mouthing Rage Tail baits, but the durability I've found is just not there. They catch fish, but it gets frustrating when they tear so easy. Mend It is making a fortune off of repairing RT's baits. Zoom, Z-Man, and Gene Larew baits I've found are the most durable.

Revo Stx Vs Tatula Type-R
First off, I own 2 regular Tatulas and am a former owner of the Gen 3 STX, S and SX. The STX is a nice reel, but for the money and the deals to be had on the Tatula/Tatula Type R you just can't go wrong with the Daiwa. I had a few problems with the brake tabs on the STX turning themselves on during a cast, and if you try google, you'll see I'm not alone on that. My Revo S had the same issue as well. Maybe Abu fixed the problem in the latest runs, but I honestly don't think the STX is the better reel at all. The Tatula is much smoother, casts farther, and IMO is just built better. The regular Tatula I think as a 5.x gear ratio though the Type R does not. Type R is 6.3 and 8.1 IIRC. Still, the regular Tatula is better than the STX.
