  1. I'd say if you can afford the MG, go for it. I have one and it's a great reel.
  2. Focusing on school helps, it's kinda hard to concentrate on Alegbra during the spawn .
  3. I'd say when you no longer fish but just look at your tackle, that's a problem.
  4. The handle is almost identical to my Lew's. IDK, I guess I'm the only one who thinks so
  5. So I caught this HUGE bass in a pond and I think it's the new world record (pictured in my profile). Okay, you say, it's a dink, but what you don't know is that I'm 7'6 and I have fists the size of basketballs, so in relation to my size, what do you think this bass weighs? Lol great post A-Jay. I think we needed it.
  6. Just noticed that the handle on the Daiwa Aird looks familiar.............http://daiwa.com/reel/detail.aspx?id=738
  7. Mind telling me where you caught her?
  8. That sounds intriguing. Thanks for sharing.
  9. You can do it with multiple companies, such as Megabass, Strike King, Manns, Lucky Craft, Bomber, and Rapala, just to name some.
  10. Yozuri baits are, without a doubt, proven eyecatchers, and fishcatchers as well.
  11. Shimano Cronarch or Lews Tournament MG are both solid reels.
  12. I was talking less about remembering them than about the fact that bassers back in "the early days" didn't know anything higher than a 6:4:1.
  13. If I'm really really desperate, I'll pull out an inline spinner, which can catch you some bream as well as bass. 4-inch finesse worm has been really good to me as well.
  14. That's a crazy bag of spots!
  15. My brother is a jerkbait addict, I just can't seem to work up a whole lot of admiration for them.
  16. I like reading old bass books, and they talk about 4:3:1 ratios. Wonder what the old timers would think about this.
  17. I started fishing with my grandpa, then branched out on my own. I've been seriously fishing for about a year now.
  18. I'd get a bunch of soft plastics.
  19. Let us know how it goes.
  20. I can't justify the price. I lose too many sinkers fishing cover.
  21. I like that title
  22. I went camping at Hanging Rock State Park and the pond they had there was chock-full of lizards. They were everywhere on the bottom. We went swimming and caught several. Must be good forage.
  23. Boga grips are pretty good, I hear.
