Any ideas on how to help rods float if they fall out of the yak? I see the pool noodle idea just above the reel, but that seems so bulky. Anyone know of any products that are sold or ideas?

I'm looking at the UnderArmour ColdGear Camo bibs and jacket, but I was wondering if there was something a little less expensive. I'd like it to be lightweight for when i'm in the kayak, but able to take some bruising when I hunt as well. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas? I've heard of some wet suits, but not sure if those can go in the woods or not without being torn up.

Havn't been able to get our for any smallies in the river up here in Northern Indiana. Just wanted to know if anyone had any tips on reeling in a few of these bad boys this time of year?

Hey guys, i'm new to the board. I'm from northern Indiana and I love to fish! Bass fishing is what I like to do & smallies are my fav fish by far, but i like to catch other large fish as well too! Who doesnt right? I'd have to say that i'm more into the river fishing in the kayak in northern Indiana because there are more smallies, and the waters are less fished. I have fished from Southern Michigan all the way down to Vero Beach, FL & my favorite lakes would have to be the Stick Marsh/Farm 13 in Florida & Fontana Lake in North Carolina. My favorite river would be the Tippy in Indiana!
