  1. Glad to hear some more muscle car guys on here. Can't leave out the 70 challenger, with a 440 or the 426 hemi
  2. I have no idea lol, have to make a correction in case there are any other muscle car guys on here, the Yenko camaros came with the m21 four speed not m22.
  3. I'd have to say if I had that kind of money I'd prefer finding a rare American muscle car and having it professionally restored. My dream car is a 1969 Yenko camaro, aluminum 427 big block, m22 four speed. American muscle
  4. Also take a look at the abu garcia vendetta, only $80 I have one 7' mh and love it. It's light, sensitive and durable. Great rod all around.
  5. Thanks for all the advice guys, I'm going to look into aurora for sure. It's defenitly worth the price, I'm planning to have this boat for a long time, just didn't know where to look for a good cover. Thanks again everybody
  6. Thanks for the replys guys. I was looking at bass pros selection online and am looking at the Classic accessories dryguard cover. Anybody have experience with classic accessories covers?
  7. I bought a new to me 21' stratos, my first glass bass boat! It's in winter storage now but it will be kept outside during fishing season my garage is too small for a boat that size. So now I'm looking for a good quality cover for it. I've looked into the bps brand ones but read bad reveiws about their quality. Anybody know good ones to look at? Thanks a lot
  8. I have that same rod with a quantum reel, I actually use it for small top water lures. Jitterbugs, small prop lures ect. Works great for the small ones it's hard to throw on my baitcasters. Had that rod for years and love it.
  9. I bought that same rod last year, I have a pflueger Trion on it. It's their base model spinning reel but it is a good one. I use it for dropshotting and other small lure presentations and it's perfect for that. No frills but it works
  10. The Bandit and snowman, and that includes the trans am and kenworth of course
  11. Drill operator for drilling and blasting company
  12. Sounds like the yoke to me, had the same thing happen to me with my orra 2sx. Take the plate off and make sure the it curves away from the main gear, in other words so the curve is towards the thumb bar. Hope this helps.
  13. There is no one retrieve that will work with every bait in every situation. Try different retrieves and see what happens. Fast, slow, hop it, eventually you'll find what they want that day.
  14. When you guys use braid as a main line, how long of a fluro leader do you use?
  15. Is that for all locations or do the dates differ from one store to the next?
  16. I'm lucky enough to have a girlfriend who loves to bass fish, not a much as I do of course...but she uses a lot of my lures so when I go to bps and buy all my new toys she doennt mind one bit!! Gotta love girls that fish
  17. Defenitly gotta keep an eye on the sky whenever you're on champlain. She can get nasty real quick. Stay safe
  18. Hardcore, I was thinking the same things you are, the 160 doesn't have enough storage and the fact that it doesn't have the enclosed rod locker make me not want to buy it. And the 170 with the 40hp is just out of my price range. That's what's making me look at the Lund fury. It's a tiller so that opens up a lot more space and it has 2 rod lockers for up to 12 rods. And from the pics it seems to have more storage than the 170. I'm not fishing hp restricted lakes but the boats equipped with the bigger motors are out of my price range. The fury with a 25 hp is a few grand cheaper than the 160 with the same outboard.
  19. Thanks for the input guys, I also just found a dealer in my area with new lund 1600 fury tillers. They look like they have a lot more storage and open space by not having the console witch I like. A fury might end up being my better choice.
  20. I'm looking into buying a new 2015 pro 160 or 170, im looking to buy new because of the warranties that come with a new boat and financing options. I Went to bass pro and looked at both boats and they seem perfect for me and what I need in a boat. I've read a lot of reveiws on the boats and have heard a lot of people having issues with welds breaking and over all quality problems. Anybody on here own either of these boats? And if so are they worth buying? Thanks
