Just... Be quiet. You're now being annoying. Op, honestly, go with the ones you like the best. Just make sure you spend the extra money to get the lenses Polarized. Makes a HUGE difference. Cannot even go back to regular lenses anymore lol.

This is what happens when people come here to just ask for a little bit of advice on something they have their eye on. Too much personal opinion and not enough experience. There is a lot of personal opinion on the internet, not enough actual experience. We could throw a ton of different variables into the equation but that really wasn't the question from the Op. If I could build a pair of glasses, I would use Oakley's frames and Maui Jim lenses. That's just me. well said, well said.

I have them and absolutely love them. Design is awesome. I have the clear/smoke with orange lenses. All glasses must be polarized so I would account some extra cost for that.

I have FC on most of everything ever since i switched to the casters. I have issues with the braid getting bedded into the spool. Anyone else have issues with that? Anyone have any advice on how to correct?

The weather has been really funky as of late. Fished Saturday and Sunday and both days had a on and off pattern. Saturday was actually somewhat better. Sunday was a total off day. The cold nights have really driven the bass into a unusual pattern. Anyone else having a hard time reading the bass and the weather conditions that affected them? It almost seems like the bass have not even gone into their pre-spawn antics. The bass I did catch had bellies but it just doesn't feel like the pre-spawn has really started... Hopefully better luck this weekend...

Using myself as a perfect example. Never bit into the fluorocarbon hype until I got heavy into bait casters. Now I basically only use it for all my fishing. It basicially showed me where braid really failed. Still love the properties of braid BTW. I still have one reel with braid but I never really needed to revert back. I love the invisible presentation of FC. Only drawbacks I have found were some backlashes and kinks where I would cast and immediately wonder why my line snapped and there goes my lure lol. Hate when that happens. Type of FC made a big difference as well. I used Seagur Invisx first. Switch to Sunline FC Sniper, I love it!

Ugh! Wish I could get on a boat at Union and Wilson. The struggle is real for bank fisherman there. Can't seem to catch as often. Great catches Gents! Let me know if I could pay to jump in with you if you guys have a boat lol!

I did pretty well today. Caught 5 bass. Nothing too extreme but it was definitely more active today. The wind definitely stirred them up.

Started getting heavy into them last year. Now I have three. I have a Daiwa Zillion TWS, Abu Garcia Revo STX Gen 3, and Lews Speed Spool LFS. Highly recommend the Lews; great quality and not too expensive at all. Hope that helps. I prefer a medium hvy fast action 7'

Went out tonight. Caught a huge bluegill on a jerkbait. I'll be going out tomorrow as well stay tuned.

Gotcha. Yeah I heard that people like to break into the cars and such of those who fish there. I've never really looked to much into it so I'll be there asap with the bass raider to check it out.

Here mixed review with Menatico; some have said that its a little sketchy with some random people hanging out in there. What's your take?

Anyone on here from the SNJ and is out and about fishing? Trying to build a group together of avid fisherman. I've been hitting up little and local ponds here and there. Last venture was to New Brooklyn; caught a small LMB and a nice chain pickeral two days ago.

Too add to everyone else. They are great. Especially the price tag. I enjoy mine. I have the Speed Spool LFS. Definitely going to get more.
