    I have several of the old Crucials and had one break. Shimano replaced with one of their new ones and I didn't care for it. For that price range I would recommend one of the Zodias rods.

    I've had success with the Santone Chris McCall Rayburn swim jigs. Particularly in blue gizzard shad, with a pearl white paddletail as a trailer.
