Unfortunate incident with fellow angler.
It would be tough not to put a 4 oz. sinker on and start to throw it and see if he wants to fish in your line of fire. I have a hard time walking away from rude idiots.

Pick one finesse technique only
Maybe I should have asked this way. Lets say a million dollar fishing contest was being sponsored with only finesse style used. Each person could only pick one finesse technique for that year. What would it be? I didn't mean to step on toes and didn't know how easy it was to ruffle feathers. I just wanted to nail down what most people pick over all others if it came down to just that one technique. Even if its not a do all style. I did like the looks of the Owner bullet head. I can see me using those. I hadn't seen them before.

Or instead of hijacking a thread you don't like you could just bypass it and allow the people who do want to post to do so. Thanks for playing.

Pick one finesse technique only
Its not a scientific study. Just for fun to see the one most would pick. Just like saying you can only pick one bait to fish with from now on. I know it's not going to cover every situation. Don't over think it.

Pick one finesse technique only
You can only pick one to use the rest of your life. Would it be drop shot, Ned rig, neko rig, shaky head, wacky rig, or some other? There's other techniques that may be considered finesse as well so name that one that you would pick.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
So I just bought a used Bass Hunter EV and I've decided it's a horrible design. The seats slide on an aluminum rail and makes it nearly impossible to put them in. I took a cutting wheel and cut the lip off one side and it's much easier now. The part that I hate the most is there's no place to put rods. It has raised cup holders and storage that leaves no flat area and no lip on the outside to keep them from falling out. I was looking to put a bungee cord on it to at least strap them down but they are all still stacked in a pile and get tangled once you try and use a different rod. I think it's one piece molded design it very good but the engineering is horrible. If anyone has a better way to store the rods let me know. Otherwise I'm selling it.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
Keep us updated. I may do the same. Was also wondering what people put their fish in. I've always used a floating wire fish basket. If it gets very full I always pull it in before moving any great distance. Can be a bit of a hassle but it's the only thing I can think of to do.

Looks good on the upgrades but wondering if the anchor cleats will hold with just screws. Seems a possibility they could put out under a load.

Buyer Beware of No Title Boats
I was trying to buy a plastic two man boat used and many didn't have titles. The courthouse would not let me licenses it without a title so I passed up several because of this. The last one had a certificate of origin and the owner still had to apply for the title then transfer it to me after three weeks. Most guys would not even go through the trouble but I now have it in my name and licensed. A lot of trouble for sure. And this was just for a cheap plastic boat.

Tags and letters on Bass Hunter?
I still must put the registration sticker on.

Tags and letters on Bass Hunter?
I have the Bass Hunter EV and was wondering how you apply the letters to the hull. The texture is beaded as well as concave. I didn't know if they would stick. Also had the idea of putting them on plexiglass and screwing that to the hull. Any suggestions?

If you could only bring one lure to bring fishing with you, What are you bringing?
Probably a jig.

? About Gopher Tackle
I checked my card today and nothing has been changed to it. Tried to call but no answer other than a machine and I was at work so I didn't leave a message. P.S. I try and leave a message once at home and the memory on the answering machine was full. Wow! How does someone stay in business. Guess it's on to other sources.

Ned Rig!!! (Update)
If Chuck Norris was a fishing bait, he'd be a ned rig.

? About Gopher Tackle
Ok thanks. I'm just not used to not receiving notifications showing shipping a week after ordering. Just wish the communication was better. Looks like a good product.

? About Gopher Tackle
So I order several packs of jig heads and I get two emails with the same order number. I was trying to email them to make sure they are only charging me for one and sending one order. They don't answer and I've also never received a notification of a shipment. It's been over a week. For you guys that have ordered do they tell you when the order has shipped? Seems like a company I may not want to deal with again. Very poor communication.

The Ned Rig Resource
I was using mono so that may be the issue. I'm really falling in love with this bait though. So is the hi vis braid the best?

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
So I've seen guys make a rudder and put the fish finder transducer on the bottom? Seems it would be a good chance to break it off. Anyone run into this problem? Is it better not to incorporate it with the rudder? By the way, I did end up buying a 9.5 ft bass hunter. Just working on primping it out now. Hope I'm not being a pest with the questions.

The Ned Rig Resource
I was using a med light with 6 pound line. 1/6 zman heads. We were letting the fish take it and just raising the rod and reeling. At least this seemed to work the best. Still had several good ones come off just bringing them in. Had one at least 5 plus get off. Caught several in the 2 to 4 range but still had nearly half get off. I'm sure it's a learning curve but I wasn't forcing them and had a rather loose drag.

The Ned Rig Resource
We fish the Ned rig today and it out fished everything. We lost a lot of fish as well. I wish the hook was a little bigger and had a bigger barb in it. It almost doesn't have a barb. I may try the worm weight but turn it around so the flat side allows it to stand up and peg it.

Bass Pro Spring Classic Flyer and Sale?
This years sales are pathetic. I do not see any reason to make a 2 hour drive for what they are offering.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
By shallow I mean the height of the side walls. The Hunter looks like it rides much lower in the water. In pictures it looks like there's less above water.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
I've found a Bass hunter that's 9.5 foot long but its shallower than the Bass Raiders. Anyone have any issues with the Bass Hunter being too shallow and having water come in? The Hunter is more expensive new and looks to be one piece rather than two with the Raider.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
I'm thinking of getting a 10 foot boats from Academy. Can't remember the band. Maybe a Bass Raider...Anyway..what size trolling motor is big enough. I will not use a gas motor at all. I was thinking 40# would do it. Any suggestions?

How does pond fishing translate to lakes?
You are probably right but I can't call it Ky Pond because its man made. LOL...160,000 acres will be a lake to me no matter what. I guess we all have our own definition.
