Dave Mercer's Watch
Maybe I am getting old and starting to lean toward more classic styling, but his thing is fugly. There are a lot of much finer watches out there at half the price tag. This one definitely falls into the tacti-cool category.

Rapala Prices - Got Serious Sticker Shock Today
I assume your talking about the Original floating minnows. If thats the case, then the price has gone up and the quality has gone down. I use the F-13 size gold minnow religiously from November to January. I have broke the lip off of 8 of them since last November. I'm about to send them an email with detailed pictures. Maybe it was a bad batch.

Reel For Micro Magic
I have really enjoyed my Lew's BB1-Pro's. They normally cost $200, which I think is very reasonable. And to make matters better they and several other Lew's reels are on sale here- http://www.sportsmansoutfitters.com/lews-bb1-pro-speed-spool-series-baitcast-fishing-reel/

New Guy From North Florida
Pictures, you say? Sure thing. This one is from two sundays ago. We caught 45 large mouths in a little over two hours all on top water. It was probably my best bass trip yet, and it was just 2-3 miles down river from the house. And here's the results. Needless to say, we ate great with family and friends. And here's a pic from the dock with one of my other hobbies: handmade custom knives.

New Guy From North Florida
Hello Fellow Fisherman, I'm new here, so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Jon, and I live on the Wakulla River in North Florida. I moved here from NC in May of Last year and love it. My mom and all of her family are from this area, and there are some fisherman in the family. My uncle has been a bass guy for about fifty years, and I've caught the bug. Since I've been in Florida, I've done a lot of inshore flats fishing, which is fun and all, but the bass fishing has really drawn me in. The River I live on is spring fed, and flows into the gulf; so it's a freshwater tidal river. There are alligators, manatee, bass, sunfish, and more. My uncle has figured the river out pretty well, after fishing it for the last 30 years. Every two weeks, corresponding with the moon phase, we can go out to two spots, throw a top water plug and catch 20-80 bass in 2-3 hours. it's a blast. But I want to get more technical with my fishing, varying approaches, techniques, and tackle. And from what I've read, this is a great place for that. I'm 30 years old, and just last week got my first bait casting setup, and can't wait to put it through it's pass this weekend. Thanks for having me, Jon
