  1. I use a 6'9" MH Kistler Carbon Steel rod with 65 lb Power Pro braid for fishing buzzbaits. I very rarely lose any fish with this setup once they get on.

  5. I wholeheartedly agree! The Mustad triple grip treble hook is one of the best on the market right now. But if your drag is too tight, you're asking for trouble!

  7. A 3/4 oz Red Eye Shad in a natural color would probably work pretty good as well once you locate the fish. I often have my best luck with the yo-yo technique with this bait, especially in deeper water.
  8. Dirty Jigs makes some excellent jigs! Thru trial and error, Rage Tail Craws and Netbait make the best trailers IMO
  9. Flukes rigged weightless are a bass catching machines! Also, I would try a Spro Bronzeye Popping Frog as well. I don't know what it is about that frog, but big bass love it! Especially in and around grass.

  12. I live outside of Columbus, Ga., and the bite has been off everywhere me and my wife have been fishing. Even at our honey hole, the bites have been few and far between. I think this heat has maybe depleted some of the oxygen in the water?
  13. I would like to give them a try! I've never fished a hair jig, but would like to try!
  14. It really stinks that you cant put a boat in at Cooper Creek. I've seen some real toads come out of that place from people that were bank fishing. I would love to be able to put my bass hunter in there and fish it.
  15. I have fished alot of topwater baits, and I fish topwater lures with braided line. I started fishing a Devils Horse, and my braid always ends up wrapping around the front propeller. Anyone got any tips or tricks that would help eliminate that problem? Thank you!
