Looking into joining a club this 2017 season for a rider/co angler. I've been bass fishing for many years, and want to start the tournament scene. Anyone have any info?

I'm replacing all of my rods this year. Want to stick with one company. Was possibly thinking castaway rods. Any one have any issues with them? Also if I emailed castaway do you think they'd give some sort of discount if I'd be ordering 6-7 rods?

Hey all, looking into building my first rod. Looking for some Input from you guys. Should I start with a spinning or casting build? I've only looked on mudhole because their kits are fairly priced. Anyone know of any good building kits from other companies, web sites etc?

I use braid on every reel I have except 1 and that one hardly sees the water. I love braid. Yes on 2 of my setups I will throw a 3-4ft fluorocarbon leader on. Now a good friend on mine that I fish with is complete opposite. He hates braid, and never uses it. We catch about the same amount of fish between the both of us. My opinion is its all about what you prefer.

I have a st croix mojo bass spinner bait model. Now is that rod only used for spinnerbaits? I've never really heard anything about them. Could they be used for other technique fishing?

i tend to try and use braid on majority of my setups, besides my spinning setup. is this bad? mainly 20lb braid except for my flipping rods. was wanting to know everyone elses opinions on this. thanks!

What's up guys/gals, I've been a member since March of 2015 but have never taken the time to introduce myself. My name is Robert, I'm from Cincinnati Ohio. I mainly bank fish in small ponds and occasional golf course ponds ? I've been bass fishing for about 3 years but have just recently started getting really into it. I spent those years hardly catching anything because I thought it was just grab a lure and fish, but thanks to your guys support and help I've been able to catch more fish. This forum is amazing and thanks everyone for responding to my questions and helping me out. There's still a lot to learn!
