Just wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone!!!! I was looking at all the bass we caught this year and figured I'd share some pics. I hope everyone has an excellent 07'!!!

Water temp was 49 degrees this morning. I went back out and fished in the rain a couple of hours this morning and caught a crappie and a 3-4 lb bass. Had 3 other bites, but they hit it short. It looks like these 2 are the last fish of 2006 for me. Hopefully 2007 will be another awesome fishing year for everyone!!!

Gave it another try today. It was cold and raining :-/ Caught six real quik and even had a double. The biggest was around 7lbs. Check out the scars on her :-? Managed to get one more before we left. Same pattern as the excellent adventure post. Here are some pics, enjoy! 8-)

Depends on where you live. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I beleive it starts when the water temp reaches 63-65 degrees...

The fish were schooling and feeding on shad. Caught most of them on a carolina rigged fluke. Caught the others on suspending jerkbaits and rattletraps. We have had a warm streak here the last week with highs in the mid seventys. These fish are allready producing eggs. My buddy kept one to eat the other night and it was slap full of eggs. I can't wait till the prespawn!!!
