Live Target Popping Frog?
I like the poppers that are designed as frogs better b/c they make more sense to me, but I'm guessing fish are just attracted to the movement/sound. I'm not sure why companies design poppers that look like fish, but I suppose it doesn't matter when it comes to getting bites.

Live Target Popping Frog?
Have any of you guys used the LT Popping frog? I've been using it a lot the last several times out and have had a lot of success with it. It seems to be about the perfect size to get a lot of strikes, and the popping noise it makes is pretty unique compared to other poppers I've tried in the past. How do you think it compares to other poppers? I honestly haven't ever used poppers much before, but I've been getting bites on this one in the middle of the day, so I was just curious if others would consider it better than average? Or maybe I'm just putting more time and energy into this one? It's honestly very hard for me to judge effectiveness when it comes to lures, b/c I never know what bites I would have got if I was using something else

Best Rod For Flipping And Pitching Livers
I've read recently that shad is much more effective than chicken livers. Do you have any idea what kind of places might sell them? I've never seen them for sale.

Fish Species Question?
I have been fishing a lake toward northern Indiana, and the last two times we went (yesterday and the week before) there have been fish hitting the surface about 10-20 feet away from the edges of lily pads. I don't know if they are feeding, but they might be mating b/c it seems like you will see the backs of two of them bumping into each other briefly. I can't get a good look at what they are, and I can get them to bite at lures but not take a lure, so I think they may be smallish. Any idea what these might be? The lake has been there forever and is connected to several other lakes so there could probably be any fish local to northern Indiana in that place.

What Is The Most Effective Top Water Frog?
I guess if the details on the top of the frog matter that much, I don't understand how you can get away with tassels instead of realistic legs like the lunker frogs have?

Most Expensive Lure
I haven't found anything that works better than plastic worms, but I'm an idiot so I'm willing to try about anything Can't see myself ever getting into swim baits though lol

What Is The Most Effective Top Water Frog?
I've noticed a lot of frogs/rats are extremely detailed on the top, but I don't know how that matters since the fish is always looking at them from the bottom? Is there are difference between brands, or is there one that really outperforms the others?

Most Expensive Lure
I ended up spending $12 on a LT walking frog. I've caught fish on it, but it is much more difficult to "walk" than other similar lures I have.

Amazed How Well Scent Products Work
I've always been curious if there was anything to scents. It would be hard for me to judge, since I never know how many fish I'm not hooking up with

Okuma, Left To Right Handed?
Thanks, got it fixed! I had no idea that stupid plastic piece popped out.

Okuma, Left To Right Handed?
I ordered an okuma stratus cs 35 on Ebay, and it came as left handed and I need to change it to right handed, but it was used so there weren't any instructions. I had assumed that you just unscrew the handle and change it to the other side, but there is a piece in that stays in the reel that needs to change sides also and I have absolutely no idea how to get it out of the reel. It looks like I'm going to have to disassemble the entire reel unless there is some kind of trick I don't know about. Any advice?

Live Target Hooks?
The hooks are much sharper and pointed inward a bit. You're more likely to catch a fish with them, but at the same time I think they're a little too much for me personally.

What Kind Of Hooks Should I Use For Carp?

Live Target Hooks?
I caught a bass with a live target walking frog tonight, and the hooks on that lure were really difficult to get out of the fish. They are really high quality, and I'm sure would be great for tournaments etc, but since I'm just doing catch and release for fun, I was wondering if I should swap the hooks out for something else, and if so what kind of treble hook I should use?

What Kind Of Hooks Should I Use For Carp?
I think my friend and I might try some carp fishing b/c the rain has been so bad. I was wondering what kind of hooks I should use? I know carp's lips are more fleshy and I don't want to tear the fish up if I catch any.

Sebile Flat Belly Walker
Nobody else has used this one? =( I just received a live target walking frog in the mail (by accident, but I'm keeping it and just reordering what I'd originally wanted) and it's very similar except it sits in the water straight up and down. I'd prefer it sat at an angle like the flat belly walker, but it's also lighter so it's not going to make that huge obnoxious splash the flat belly walker does. It will be interesting to see which one does better with catching fish. I have a feeling the flat belly walker is going to just be too large for any bass under 2lbs, and unfortunately for me there aren't many aggressive feeding 2lb+ bass where I fish.

Best Knot For Crank Baits?
I've been trying to use palomar knots, but they're a little too difficult to do for large crank baits. What is the best knot or knots for crank baits? (Preferably something reasonably simple)

Sebile Flat Belly Walker
I got this one in my MTB box, and I actually really like it. It sits in the water at an angle, which is kind of unique, and it looks exactly like a big frog in the water. I was actually pretty surprised it retails at only $6 when it seems better constructed than similar sized lures like spooks. The thing I have an issue with is at about 3oz it hits the water extremely hard. So is that going to scare fish when I throw it near cover?
