It's been going great doing some work on her replacing fuel lines, fuel tank, bought new battery for motor, gonna change water pump and fuel pump, grease prop shaft, clean carberator out.Maybe fish lol.

We were on Loxachee on 15th in North canal with the wind picked up a few couple pounders on worm, fluke, senko and sb . Going tomorrow see what happens. Tight lines!!!

Now I understand why guys go out and buy 20ft bass boats with 250 hp motors lol it's like fishing in your family room

Went great fished out of Loxachee refuge in South Florida, caught about 12 bass 1-3lb range very windy out boat handled it well drove incredibly smooth with that Tri hull, so nice having all that room to move around and stand up and fish, ton of storage and motor ran like a beast, what a difference I been in Jon boats all my life and caught a lot of fish in them and had fun but there is no comparison.

The reason I started using them cause snake heads would destroy my expensive ones, but than I started using them. In areas that there wasn't any snake heads and caught plenty of bass on them only issue I have with them is with bass is skirts dont last long but you can buy skirts at bps for them, the only other problem is my Walmart doesn't get them on shelf fast enough for me so I talked to sporting goods Mgr and now he orders me plenty

I bought an older boat and it enabled me to get Fiberglass and a bigger boater very glad I did it makes a huge difference on ride and comfort had it thoroughly checked out by a marine mechanic just my. 02 cents

Thanks!!! I was very skeptical of buying her due to the age but once I met the gentleman that was selling it and saw it in person and my marine mechanic buddy checked it out I couldn't pass it up for the price he was asking he babied that boat took care of it like a child, I got lucky.

Thanks guys taking my fiancee out and my son today very excited and so are they, gonna be a great family experience. Should have done this years ago especially living in South Florida so many different places to explore.

Any good links you can recommend for first time boat owners? I saw some videos about backing up trailer and loading and loading I got experience with that.

Graduating from a Jon boat and getting my first full rig bass boat its an old boat but had a marine mechanic check it out and he gave me the thumbs up!!! Very excited!!!

Just found out it's dropped to $3k so now I'm torn, just keep my 10ft Jon boat with seats and 55lb trolling motor or keep looking for a diamond in the rough???

I want to keep it simple I'm not very mechanically incline I fish in my 10ft Jon boat now carrying it and it's becoming to much work carrying it over levees and all the gear with it and I got the everglades in my Backyard

Got 4k to spend on a bass boat would love to hear from you guys in what direction I should go. I was think thinking buying a new 14ft Jon boat, new trailer and a new 9.9 hp I already have a brand new 55lb trolling motor and optima gel battery, just to go all new and not have anyone's old problems but I got friends telling me look at older boats that are all decked out..... HELP!!! Lol!!!

I just read that shimano makes those Field and stream rods for the price it seems decent love the specs on it I'm sure my buddy will like it all his stuff is old and falling apart and doesn't have the money to upgrade.
