Yeah. it is easier for guys to find fishing buddies. I mean there is a reason why there are not many females on this forum. Girls are not that interested in fishing, usually. I want a female friend that: -Can help get a boat on and off the trailer -last from sunrise to sunset on the lake with out texting, talking to much about bf or husbands or kids, or worrying about 5 million reasons to go home. -Drink beer... but not too much -Does not make me bait her hook and take off her fish of the hook -Is fun and funny -And doesn't give up if she doesn't get a bite in the first hour. I have more to add, but yeah.

Im west of STL but have family on Truman Lake. I do not enjoy LOZ. Where is good 30 min of STL? I would love some good places round here. No rivers, cuiver river state park, LSL, or Bush Wildlife though. Like a decent lake around St. Louis if you know of any. Thank you for you your insight.

Thanks. I am going to try. Now that I am done with school and can just work and enjoy life on my days off, it would be nice to meet some girls that love fishing as much as I do. It sucks trying to get girl friends to go and sitting with someone allll day that doesn't really enjoy fishing. I don't mind if they just sit and tan,,, as long as they don't whine to go home. If their in the boat that just increased my limit on a good day

Zebco for bass. It may not be as smooth as some others, but its cheep, easy, and keeps me in my comfort zone. It cast pretty far too. Most people like the open face reels, but I am just more comfortable with the old school zebco.

I just did online order and I did order the Gamakatsu's hooks that you recommended. I love powerbait and I ordered the watermelon/red glitter. Good luck on your fishing season!!!

So I am getting tackle together. I have not been out in 4 years while completing a nursing degree. Now there is a bunch of new stuff out there and I can't buy it all. So what hooks do you recommend? Past: Always use Zebco 33 reel Powerbait is fine I remember loving the 'Chomper' hooks. They are sharp and release easy if swallowed. OH and if you have any luck with plastic 'fake' bait this season, lemme know the type and colors please.

VACATION with her hubby. OMG This is the perfect time to rekindle. Remember what you guys did before the kids that you loved to do together. She doesn't want pearls, or diamonds, or a restaurant... She wants to know that you and her can still laugh and have fun together. Take her to a cabin on a lake fishing if she likes, or to the smokie mountains, camping, canoeing, rafting, something memorable that you both have enjoyed together. Redo the honeymoon, or take the one you always wanted. Take her dancing at a hole in the wall somewhere. I hope I helped. You're a good man.
