I'm getting into carolina rigging and have all the components but the swivels. Which size owner hyper barrel swivel would you recommend? I don't really know where to start... This will be for 1/2 ounce weight, 4/0 hook, and 7 inch worms, creatures, etc.

X2. I'm not skinny but I usually don't eat while I'm fishing. Grab something on the way sometimes though. If I get really hungry I'll go to the marina at the lake in fishing and get a snickers and beef jerky.

Another vote for shimano. Only way to go.

So far: rage tail, mega strike, and ford.

Berkley Big Game is the only line I use on my casting reels. Spinning gets sniper, but I haven't noticed enough of a difference to switch on casting.

I've had almost zero problems with line management in sniper 6 lb test. It's definitely worth a try.

Shimano Metanium XG/Megabass Orochi XX emtf: perfect No really at your price range, I'd take a look at that new levante emtf. For reel, I'd go with either a curado I or curado 50e.
