  1. d**n. Those Kast Kings are hot I love how it says with the caenan: "There are some types of line capacity that are offered by this fishing reel. This product has line capacity that is ranging from 8 pounds/180 yards, 10 lbs/155 yards, and also 14 lbs/110 yards." Lol. It's all the same capacity. Just with different # tests. And it has a gear ratio of "about" 6.5:1, "so you can enjoy your experience with this powerful fishing reel." Because we all know that 6.5:1 is the only enjoyable gear ratio. Lmao
  2. I know, $200< is not usually what I think of when it comes to "budget" rods.
  3. G loomis E6X or Shimano Zodias.
  4. Thanks! You'll enjoy it. I spooled mine with some 10 lb big game today, 1/4 ounce weight, berkley craw fatty. Set 4 brakes off 2 on. Someone on this forum mentioned casting this reel with no thumbing, it's true! Once I got it dialed in I was getting 30-35 yds distance no thumbing even at the end! Can't wait to see what it'll do with a 3/4 ounce rattletrap.

    THUT?
  6. No, rod is from TW. Ya only promotional items I've ever gotten have been stickers, I thought the hook keeper was awesome!
  7. Thanks! Lol. It's actually pretty dirty It's an oriental rug, only open place I could find in the house that was soft enough for the reel!
  8. New reel came in today Pretty similar to the Curado I. It's lighter and narrower but longer. I'm definitely a fan of the longer handle. Out of the box feels about as smooth as the Curado, should loosen up when I throw some line on it and catch some fish Have it on an E6X for now: Bought it from Japan Lure Shop. Not bad for $260! Also thought it was nice they threw in a Fuji lure keeper as a "gift", which is perfect because I'm buying a Megabass rod for it.
  9. Owner wacky hooks.
  10. That's easy: Another vote for the orochi xx.
  11. Lol similar situation here. Except with a weed eater
  12. Pretty much same here. Except 10-20 lb flouro for #1 (depending on cover) and 16 lb flouro for #2. For the last one 12 lb mono or flouro will work for most crankbait applications.
  13. Both. Some days they want one or the other, some days it doesn't matter.
  14. X3 on the sniper. I use it in 2-8 lb test on spinning gear as well.
  15. Not worth it IMO. The smaller size of tungsten would make it more snag resistant but with the price of tungsten it would probably be a lot cheaper to just loose a few However, I do use tungsten bullet weights. Reins to be exact. I've had bad expeiences with lead fraying my line.
  16. X3. Jig n craw all year long!

    It's a joke.
  18. 68 right now Feels a lot hotter though.
  19. Thats why I use the 6" fat roboworms. Perfect diameter for shakeyheads IMO.

Lol same here. I get at least 6 a day from my chickens.
