Which Line?
Using them all to your advantage is key, for each fisherman results may vary. Basic properties braid and mono float, floro sinks. Floro and mono stretch, braid does not. Floro is least visible in the water, and braid offers the smallest line diameter. They will all work, some better then others in different situations.

Cecil The Lion
This whole topic just ticks me right off, I care far more about all the veterans who need help, the poor children in America getting a second rate education, and don't get me started with politics lol! It's sad to see facebook explode with such compassion over a lion half way across the world, while the same people IGNORE the problems we face here at home. I find it to be revealing of why America is morally bankrupt.

Attitude Affects Fishing
Ah Rick Clunn covers this area quite well, Quantum Physics I think he called it. He noted several times seeing a grumpy guy get skunked while everyone else is catching fish all around him on the same boat. http://www.bassmaster.com/news/greatest-bass-angler-all-time-talks-about-intellect-intution-and-being-zone That is not the orginal article I read, I think that was in a BASS magazine. Any how I found it to be very interesting.

Geez...i'm Way Behind
I don't have any lowrance experince, but I have been building computers for years. If it is hardware related issues, like slow performance I can help. If it is software related I might not be able to help to much.

Closest Thing To A Senko?
I tried senkos, even caught me some fish on them. But to this day I go with a zoom trick worm rigged on a 1/0 gammy round bend. I have way to much confidence in this setup to have a need to grab a senko. That is just me, and part of what makes me different. I also like to be different, so that rules out senkos for me today. Every time I go out to a well fished lake, it's like every one has a senko. I know a 1/0 hook is a bit small for a 6 3/4" worm, but I think the action that small hook gives the worm sets it off in the water. It has a slow horizontal fall and a nice shimmy when you let it drop. When you twitch it, it is the most erratic jerkbait I know of. This thing will dart in every direction, including away from you. So if you twitch it to fast, the fish can miss the worm completely because of the random action. I have hooked a few fish in the side when I seen then flash at the worm. It's a setup best fished slow, and one that I have way to much confidence in to have a reason to throw a senko. I fish it in shallow clear water, in two main colors white and bubble gum. Small hook, and reaction color I think are two big keys to making it work as effective as it does.

How To Bank Fish?
When I fish from a bank blind I look at google maps and the weather. I will fish the wind blow banks, and try and look for any clues I can find from google maps/earth. When I am on the lake fishing, I am looking for life. Birds, tadpoles, bait, etc. If your standing at the bank and the bait fish are present, there should be some bass around at least not to far away. I will also look for any fishing reports on that water, and see what I can learn there.

I would have to go with the ribbon tail because I could always cut the ribbon off and alter it to look like a straight tail to still keep both presentations in my arsenal.

So Do I Have The Handle On The Wrong Side?
For me it's the other way around, I can reel fine with either, but right thumb is a lot better then my left so I can't cast casting gear lefty to well compared to right. That is something I would like to get a better hang of, switch hitters are always more valuable right?

High Pain Threshhold
I am not a big fan of chiro, and have found a massage to work quite well. I go once a month in the winter, and hardly go in the summer. When I get real stiff, I walk out of there feeling really good. I get 1 hour massages and sometimes hot stones too. Before you fly to mexico, see if a massage helps at all.

Trapped In My Own Head
Sounds to me like a good pre fish strategy could calm you down. Get all the information you can before you leave, and try and plan out a shallow and deep bite ahead. This way you can have a general idea of what you want to do, and maybe even where you want to do it. Even if you just go off of a sharp weed line you see on google earth, you got less to focus in on and less to worry about. The more spots you plan, the better you can get around. Also focus on yourself and not anyone else on the water. Pay attention too, but if your worrying about what they are doing you taking away from your own fishing. Stay focused and try your best, everyone has to start somewhere. If anything don't hesitate to move in there after they left and just watch the depth finder to learn why they might be there. If you can find a lake map to read, that can be a big plus in giving you confidence when hitting the water also good ideas of where to go. You could also look for fishing reports and see if you can learn anything there. The more information you can get ahead of time, the more efficient you can be on the water. This might help calm your nerves and let you focus on searching less water in hunt to fish.
