hey guys, havent been on in forever! i do mostly night fishing and i was just curious as to when/water temps you all like to start going after them at night?

ill have to give the spinnerbait a shot at night in this stuff. do you have any preferences on what type of blades? i know alot of guys like the BIG single colorado in open water but i dont see that doing to good in hydrilla.. thanks

hey guys, recently started fishing a new lake and there is alot of hydrilla.. a buddy showed me a good hotspot that is offshore and weeds come up to about 4 feet under the surface. this was at night and we caught plenty of fishing texas rigging plastics ripping through those weeds but it was pretty new to me considering theres virtually no weeds on my home lake, but is there any other tactics or favourite tactic you guys use in these weeds? lures other then soft plastics, etc. im a night owl so 90% of my fishing is done at night.

shoot with 2 kids (one being an infant and one a 3 year old) i get to get out about 2 nights out of a month and i love every minute of it! kind of hard to get sick of it that way.

sorry guys havent been on in a while.. its a motor guide power plus.. ended up being a loose connection on the battery post on BOTH TM and fishfinder.. time to get some lock nuts.

hey guys.. needing some help. long story short i unloaded my little 16 ft. eldocraft into my local lake and the water was way up, making those big rocks come into the water, before i could get to my boat a few big boats hauled ass past the shore and caused my motor to slam into a rock (knocking one side of the mount on the transom off) so here i am with my big motor about to fall off fighting current and rocks. ANYWAY, after fixing that now my trolling motor is only working if i flip it to a forward setting which makes it stay on without touching the foot trigger. it will work on every speed setting as long as i have it set to that mode, but it wont work with me hitting the foot trigger.. anyone know what wouldve caused this before i work on it this week? im thinking its knocked a wire loose..

hey fellows! would like to get some tips before heading out on a late night trip here in a few hours. the lake i fish is usually very clear, but weve had rain for this whole week, and its poured today. its supposed to clear up here pretty soon but there will still be drizzles here and there, and im sure the waters up some.. what would be the first thing you threw and would you fish coves or points off of the main lake? thank you guys!

what rod are you slaying them with? im in the market for a finnesse rod.

id like to get some imput on this to. i have a cheaper humminbird that is good to mark structure and depth, but thats about it. and tubes on a jighead are killer for deep water smallies. just bump up to a 3/8 oz. or so.

looks like im going with the megastrike. i also like that it comes in a gel, itll work great to put in my soft plastic bags.. thanks fellers.

the lake i fish is almost unfishable in daylight hours in the dog days of summer.. if it isnt the heat its all the boats and every cove thats been fished 5 times that day.. its peaceful at night and better fishing in mid summer in my opinion.

my 16 footer came set up like this, im sure its factory.. but it definitely doesnt affect fishing space!
