  1. Does anyone know where to find Mozingo lake levels?
  2. If you could fish one of these lakes this Saturday for Bass, which one would it be? Blackhoof, Olathe, Cedar (Olathe), Gardner, Kill Creek, Shawnee Mission, or WyCo.
  3. In my opinion if your not a Wyandotte County resident it's not worth it. It's not known for the biggest fish in the metro area, but it does have smallmouth which are fun to catch. If you live close to it, go for it, otherwise your better off spending your gas money to other waters.
  4. Well I sold the large transducer on Ebay and bought the smaller one. When all is said and done I'll be paying about 250 for the 74sv.
  5. I talked to Garmin and the only difference is that one transducer goes to 1800 feet and the other goes to 500 feet.
  6. So the head units will work with either transducer? Interesting, I've thought about selling the large ocean transducer that came with the 74sv and buying the smaller one.
  7. I'm looking at the Garmin Echomap Chirp 74sv that bass pro has on sale. Besides the map and transducer, is there any difference between the 74sv and 73sv? I would be using the 74sv on inland waters only. It comes preloaded with Coastal maps, but they are also including the inland waters map card.
  8. Does anyone know where I can get a contour map for Bone Creek? Been searching online and can't find anything.
  9. Any reports from Banner Creek? Heading there this weekend to do some fishing.
  10. This past sunday it was over 60 at the outlet and 55-60 everywhere else.
  11. What was the water temperature at?
  12. I've been looking for a heavy rod with a mod-fast tip and this looks perfect. Is there any other rod out there that is cheaper? This is out of my price range by about 100 bucks.
  13. I'm not sure of anyone close that rents out kayaks for fishing. You can find recreational kayak rentals, but that is an entirely different experience from a kayak designed for fishing. The kayak fishing club that im a part of is full of awesome people that have spare kayaks. I'm sure if you just asked someone would be willing to meet up with you and fish. Look up Northeast Kansas Kayak Anglers on facebook. There is a very large pool of guys very active on the group. (Check out the link in my signature). Also, if your willing to travel just a few hours north, there is a Kayak Guide service run by a guy named Marty Hughes. http://www.kayakjak.com/ He has a huge fleet of kayaks and he is very reasonable on his prices. Also with him guiding, you will catch fish.
  14. Were you at the heroes on the water benefit tournament out there a few weeks ago?
  15. How is the water clarity at Mozingo typically? Never been there and have a tournament there next weekend.
