  5. big spoons would probably be up there
  6. really never liked inline spinners or spinners in general always only caught small stuff on them
  7. i use them but i'm most likely going to fish i feel like they are to sharp if your bait gets caught on anything the hook point will come through and you'll end up tearing up your bait pretty bad
  8. they killed it this weekend had an awesome experience for my first time ledge fishing caught a few over 3 pounds one over 4 and a couple smallies too.
  9. 3 yo zuri 3db mid cranks 1 sexy shad prism 1 bluegill prism 1 gold black prism 2 yo zuri 3db deep cranks 1 craw prism 1 firetiger prism 2 rebel big craws 1 nest robber 1 stream craw
  10. Go by feel and not sight I always sweep after I feel the fish haven't lost one yet
  11. 7' MH/F 20lb mono trailer depends on the colour i'm throwing for black and blue or a brown it will normally be a craw for a green pumpkin it would be a blade minnow or a swimming senko thinking about trying out some lake fork swimbait trailers too
  12. wasn't able to get a weight but this is my pb caught this year while flipping into some pads
  13. unfortunately no pics but i was able to find a nice 5lb 1oz largemouth this weekend caught her on a kvd swimjig in bluegill with a castaic jerky j in bluegill. there were also a lot of smaller ones on a livetarget pumpkin seed squarebill and a couple 2-3 pounders on a strike king buzzbait in sexy shad
  14. what swimbaits are you using for trailers? mainly the ribbed paddle tails
  15. not really the same thing but i small shop on the way up to my family cottage has really nice prices 85 for a veritas instead of 100 most things seem to be about 10-15% less than regular price and the people there are really nice
  16. Those look awesome now I really can't wait for mine to get here
  17. well looks like i'm getting some new jigs now
  18. 2 rapala x-rap pop, 1 silver and 1 peral grey shiner (didn't have yellow perch) and 2 strike king kvd splash, 1 sexy shad 1 clearwater minnow
  19. i use 3/8oz for flipping most of the time but i can't really see any issue with using 1/2oz. it really depends on what you like better
  20. man it's got me too telling me i need to pick up some poppers on the way tonight topwater bug hit me hard last weekend
  21. i've never done this since all of my craws are in one box, which i'm starting to think is a bad idea. I normally don't use scent but i might try some this weekend and recommendations?
  22. numbers this year have been good better than normal size is also broke my PB this year
  23. i would probably drop shot it if they are spooked easily leaving something suspended from the bottom that looks like bait they are used to eating can normally work pretty well
  24. that sucks man in my area it seems to be people keeping absolutely anything they catch really bugs me when i see them doing it too. like a 8" largemouth and they will take it home and cook it. i don't think they understand that they are the reason that the city has put up no fishing signs in certain areas
