Would you guys still throw a 500-750 size shimano on the longer rod or step up to a 1000?

Phoenix elixr looks nice online wish someone had them around here...not looking for my best bang for the buck rod looking for quality and comfort

Looking for some recommendations on a 6' ultralight for bouncing little jigs trout and panfish. Going to pair the rod with a Sedona 500 and 4lb fire line. I've fished 4'6" -5' UL st croixs for years but am just looking for other options as I've Never fished an ultralight longer than 5'

i use it in saltwater. Freshwater fishing i prefer trilene XL

Either slit their throat or rip out the gills and leave them in a bucket of water for 10 minutes then put the fish on ice in a cooler.

5' st croix triumph with a shimano ax 500...2 or 4lb trilene XL. This is used in stream and small river where casting distance is never an issue.

6-8lb trilene XL. I'm old school

Not the best casting reel and the cast control knob always moves. I guess it's the way I palm the reel

I have become a big fan of the big bite baits trick stick. They cast just as far, loaded with salt and most important they have a similar fall rate. I still like Yamamoto senkos but they are so d**n expensive
