Yes, and like all the Sunline products I use I think it's great line. Now the difference between it and the new BX2 is the dia BX2 thinner and has a coating on it making it very very slick and quiet through guides. The FX2 is more abrasion resistant and made specifically for frogging. The FX2 is very limp also and I had no bleeding or fading in 4 mos. Hope this helps.

Yea anyone wanting/needing a spinning reel should really consider pickin CI4 up. I was waiting to see how much they were gonna be on sale for so just gonna grab a 2016 for $48 bucks more. Plus I really want the 2500 instead of the 3000. There both the same gear ratio.

Curious to see if the TW sale is on their apparel today. Would b nice to know what's comin up on sale as it would allow u to allocate money for upcoming products u want or buy more of x now because u want more of them than z that's goin on sale in however many days. @TxHawgs I have the 8' H Zillion SB rod, it's awesome. @j bab Sweet man, haven't had a chance to fish that rod yet. Gonna get a reel for it but haven't quite decided on one yet. I have a 200 series Conquest but I want to go low pro. Bought that rod cuz I got it new for a hundred bucks but gonna pick up a Loomis IMX SBR. And I just received an email from this guy in the pic and have 5 of these headed my way in February, Merry Christmas to me lol!

50yd leader, does your braid touch the water often? I've been fishing 20lb Samurai with a fluro leader. Well this past Thursday my leader was down to like 2ft. The boater was catching them on a lite darter head think it was an eighth ounce or lighter and a 5" hand poured worm. He says tie one on, I did. Well we were in 20ft of water and my bait was all over the place, I couldn't fish it. He was using straight 7lb fluro. I'm gonna try straight fluro, would like to fish the Tatsu but not sure if they make it that light.

Picked these up about a month ago. First pic is 2 Daiwa Zillions one 8' H SBR & one 8' MH R Glass CBR. Got them both brand new for less than the cost of one, $250. Next 2 is an NRX 894C and a Dobyns Champion Extreme HP 842C. Paid full price for the NRX and got the Dobyns w it for $50 bucks. The Dobyns is really nice, the aesthetics, quality control, cork and balance are all very good. It is heavier than the longer NRX, I think they add weight to the butt of the rod to balance it.

lol that happens to me too. As a matter of fact I thought that was gonna happen w stuff I have coming but it will be here tomorrow for me to use on Fork Thursday. She doesn't open my packages but she knows what kind of rods I buy if a tube shows up and knows none of my hobbies are cheap lol.

I don't follow the pro stuff too much but good point of them being jig rods if Cliff Pace is known for that. St. Croix also makes pitchin/jig rods w a moderate action as they feel it's harder for the fish to throw the jig. Before i aquired my new rods I was fishing jigs on a MH-MF GLX CBR and it worked great. Wish I could order one but spent too much this wknd. So gonna have to wait on that. And I've been wanting to order a Custom Kistler Z Bone.@Goose52 how do you like the handle on the Black Widow? I have them on my list but wish they would of put a split grip on it like the First Strike series. But if you think the carbon fiber handles make a big difference in adding to the sensitivity they I will have to try one. The Z Bone is built on the same blank as the Black Widow, the NFC HM but you probably knew that lol. Thanks guys.

Just seen these yesterday, man they are a sharp lookin rod. And anything comin out of that camp isn't gonna be junk. Handle looks like an NRX except for the reel seat. They are pretty heavy rods and 7'3"+ w a moderate action. So I'm wondering if there suppose to be jig rods, don't think there meant to be CBR? There on TW for 359 & 287 after discount.

Guess a wind knot wasn't the proper term, I meant wrapping around your guides or whatever other problems you may encounter using braid on a baitcaster in the wind.

I currently have Sunline FX2 spooled on a cpl reels. Now I went w 50lb because I use a fluro leader. The reason I went w 50lb is because before buying it I researched braid on here and read a lot of guys complain or not use braid because of wind knots. It's more often windy on the lake than not, so I figured I would try the 50lb and I have not had any problems or one wind knot. I want to purchase some of the new Sunline BX2 and would rather fish the 35lb because of the diameter. Are you guys having problems w the 35lb in the wind? Any of you run the 50lb like me besides on a frog rod? And last does anyone know if TW did anything w Sunline last yr for their 25 days of Christmas? I wouldn't think they will at least not w the newest stuff so figured I would grab it at 20% off. Thanks guys.
