Hi everyone! My name is Shannon, I am 26 from south west Florida and I am pretty sure I'm the worst bass fisher to exist. I have done almost entirely saltwater and I can catch snook, reds, sheepshead, mullet, jacks, grouper etc. ALL DAY LONG but a bass? Ever so elusive. I've tried worms. Frogs. Lizards. Shiners. Live bait and lures. Leaders and no leaders. In the am and the pm, same spots different spots. Spots where everyone else catches a bass... BUT NOT ME. I get a couple nibbles, no doubt. But I always end up nearly taking out my companions eye in the effort to set that bad boy. Haven't ya'll ever heard of a circle hook? I digress. I'm beginning to think I am truly jinxed. I have decided to join these forums in the hope that perhaps help is possible. At the least I can provide a good laugh at my ineptitude. And maybe make ya'll jealous with some "real" fish. HAH! Just kidding, I'm only jealous because I can't do it.
