  1. adventureinagling.com Mark Edison is supposedly the best guide in the area.
  2. May I ask what pond you're fishing? Big swimbaits will work in the local ponds, but the hook up ratio is very, very low. Expect to throw it for days before your first bite. I'd save it for the lake or willow beach, personally.
  3. Throw a shakyhead with a fattyZ. It's like a super-sized ned rig.
  4. Watch your line, instead of waiting to feel it. You'll have a lot more hook ups and most of the time it will be right in the upper lip.
  5. True, but from my experience, when fished side by side the TRD outperforms
  6. They make one called the zinkerz thats a slow sinking worm similar looking to a senko. IMO the floating action is what entices fish. Try a fattyZ carolina or texas rigged. I've caught a bass that bit the worm, not the hook!
  7. Just wondering who else fishes this and what have you caught? I've caught tons of lmb and smallies on the Ned rig, but I've also caught bluegill, sunfish, channel cat, bullhead, oscar, evan a carp. Pretty much everything in my local pond.
  8. I would suggest looking into the Zman elaztech products. Super tough, great action, and they catch fish.
  9. Just to give you an idea of how low the lake is, I can walk to the island that's just outside of Echo Bay.
  10. I've been fishing echo bay alot lately. Tons of lmb and smallies. Stick with your finesse plan and you'll do great!
  11. Las vegas walmarts don't even carry fishing equipment.
  12. You definitely did the right thing. You have the memory and gave somebody else the chance to make one as well.
  13. I would go with a finesse technique, like dropshotn a finesse worm or a skaky head. Fish it really slow.

Definitely has to be a Zman product. Half a senko will work, but not as effective. Besides the TRD, you can also use their hulastickZ, batwingZ,and swimshadZ on that same jighead. All of them work!
