Believe it or not, I have never had 1 problem with a tournament fisherman , Maybe its the way I look. , and my 2 sons are bigger than me. Im like the verse in that Charlie Daniels song ..." I wouldnt harm a mouse, but if I catch somebody breaking in my house "... Ive had a lot more trouble with nominal fisherman, boaters who dont realize fisherman exist, and lake owners who think they own the water near their property. I had many verbal confrontations, ( and several physical ones ) as a young man before I realized that " do unto others as you would have them do unto you " is a command and not a suggestion. I still get mad because Im human and the best thing for me is to get away from the conflict before it gets ugly.

That's terrible news. Praying for those involved. I witnessed and was the first responder to a bad accident just up the road from my house. A VW beetle with 5 high school kids went around the curve way too fast and hit a school bus head on. None of the kids on the bus were hurt but 3 of the kids in the beetle were in bad shape. Found out later the driver was doing drugs right before it happenned. When I got there, his face was a bloody mess. Met him years later and he had completely recovered and the other injured kids did too. He was very fortunate and blessed to have survived through his foolish actions, which nearly took other peoples lives.

Im not sure I understand what the change is with targeting. I think it is called WAY too much. Most of what was called targeting wasnt. Maybe poor tackling form but not targeting. A lot of helmet to helmet targeting calls are called because the offensive player lowers his head right as the defensive player makes the hit and that causes helmet to helmet contact.

Things seem to be improving a little each day. Today was the best day Ive had in over a week. Was shaving today and right arm started tingling esp. around the elbow. As soon as I finished that motion, so did the tingling. I keep thinking about the Doc. on Hee-Haw. Man comes up and tells the doc it hurts when he makes a certain motion. And the Doc. says " Well dont do that "??

I dont hate the vols but I got pretty close when Lane kiffin was there. Yeah, same here if u ever come down to gator land. If you could put me on some smallmouth I might even wear one of those " T " hats for a day that Bill Dance always wears. ?

I love the state and the people, esp. in east Tn. That being said, I dont think Id be too accepted there even though my dad was from the appalachians. Once they see my GATOR hat, the smiles and friendliness usually go away. I had that experience at the smoky mtn visitor center in gatlinburg. 9 year old boy was walking by and did a double take and giving me a stare down, as I had on one of my camo Gator hats. He said with a thick E. tennessee accent " Youuu like the Gaters ???." I said yep, Florida's my home state. He looked like he was scared to death I was the boogie man or something. I wondered, what are they teaching this child at home ???

I catch some good fish on the dingers , esp the 5 inch ones. The smaller ones dont seem to have as much action, but I still do ok with them. I have used stick-os a few times and dont see much difference. I texas rig only. Dont like wacky rig because I get a clod of weeds that way nearly every cast. I only use them weightless. Use a weight and whatever action you had is lost the heavier the weight. I will buy senkos a few times a year and they outfish the imitations hands down.

I went to the workers comp dr. yesterday. Blood pressures good. They did a chest x-ray and didnt find anything. Gave me some pain pills ( which I havent taken yet and may not take ) and muscle relaxer. I took one of them before going to bed and feel like I could sleep for a week from it. Going back on thursday for a follow up. Symptoms have eased up a little.

Its the least favorite part of my job other than the politics. Ive been doing that for 5 years now and honestly havent seen much that could potentially hurt me. A dead possum was the nastiest. My biggest fear is getting bit by a spider, getting stuck, or touching a live wire. At the Dr right now. Hoping they at least give me a note saying I cant crawl under houses for awhile.

Im set up to see the Dr today. I'll let yall know what he says. I think its either a pulled muscle or pinched nerve maybe. Symptons have slacked off a little today.

Yeah . Tell me about it ! I have done so much physical stuff in my life but never been seriously injured. Im just one that wont go to the doctor for every little thing.

Thanks. I plan to file an accident report today, and check into the other stuff. I really did not feel a sudden pop or immediate pain. I have done a lot of crawls in the last 6 weeks and at some point I started noticing a little pain and it has got worse. But if I dont do a crawl for a few days the pain usually eases off. I am starting to think it isnt a cuff injury but something in the upper chest. I do feel what I can best describe as a " grinding " sound when Im crawling in both shoulders but theres no pain with it.

Thanks. We have had such a mild winter. Only 5 freezes, and they just barely made it. I didnt fish much in january, because it rained nearly every weekend. But the fishing only slowed down a little this year due to all the warm weather. For some reason , they went on the beds later than usual this year though. Hang in there, spring cant be too far off for yall . Or take a trip to Florida !?

I wanted to add that this fish didnt seem to be carrying any eggs , and was slightly lean, but had a big frame. She would easily have been over 8 with a full tank of eggs. The fight was a little less than I would have expected, even though I Caught her on one of my lighter combos. I was able to hold her to 1 jump and a couple head shakes before lipping her.

Ive got complete range and a lot of motion doesnt bother it. It seems to be kind of connected to head movement, esp. looking up or down, or the motion of raising a cup to my mouth. Tried to find some exercises that would help, but what Ive tried hasnt worked. Think I may try some Blue Emu or whatever that is. It does seem to help if I rest it as long as possible.

Thanks. I feel fine. It just sometimes seems to run from the pain area near my shoulder down my arm. Had my heart checked twice - full tests and they said it was fine . But I appreciate the concern.

Yeah I'll check n see what my insurance covers tomorrow.

Got a problem . I sometimes have to crawl under houses with my job. About a month ago after a crawl I began to get a pain that feels like a pulled muscle in my upper right chest up near the shoulder. My shoulder has occasionally given me problems too. It has not gone away, if anything its gotten worse. Yesterday I noticed my right arm was a little numb and felt kind of tingly. It feels connected to whatevers wrong near the shoulder. In my life I always heal well from these kind of things, but not this time. The pain is down deep, and more than a little bit annoying. At least casting and fighting fish dont seem to bother me any!? But I am getting concerned. Any thoughts ?

Got out today with my G- daughter. About 30 minutes later, I got this 7 pound , 6 oz fish on a golden bream zoom super fluke. She was 25 inch long. Got her in my lake in a spot I had never caught a fish over 3 pounds before, but it was along side of an eel grass bed in about 3 f.o.w. Caught some other fish too. They were all over the zoom speed craws, baby brush hogs, and 5 inch yum dingers.Just a beautiful afternoon . Perfect weather.

One of my top 5 biggest fish was caught on a bubble gum fluke, out of a somewhat murky lake. When I ran out of them , I never bought any more for some reason. They dont seem to like that color as much on my home lake, but maybe it's because I havent fished them as much. They do love the orange sparkle senkos out there though.

Yeah , not somewhere I will probably ever go. Cant afford it anyway. I seriosly would rather deal with a snake or be around a gator than I would a big spider. I know most of you would think Im crazy, but its true.
