Thanks Catt, fished Negreet Creek towards the back yesterday. Caught 3 in the grass right off the creek channel on Carolina Rig. Fished Salter today from the bridge back to where it opens up. Caught 6 throwbacks in brush piles right off creek channel. The wind and cold ran me off the lake after that.

Hello everyone, I am new around here and have read most of this thread in the last week. I am looking for advice around the Negreet/Salter Area. I fish out of a small aluminum boat but i do have a lowrance unit with DSI. I also have a navionics app for my phone that can used for GPS as well as chekcing out contour lines etc. I have been a bank beater all my life and normally only fish around the spawn. I have been attempting to teach myself to read maps etc, and right now it seems like the creek bed that runs through Salter would be a productive place to start. Somewhere near the middle back. Anyways any advice or tips would be greatly apprecitated.
