I have a problem where my 3 pound 832 is digging into my spool, i can't get it out and don't want to cut it. How should i get it out, nothing is working

While fighting a fish, my braided line tighten down into my spool and I am unable to clear it. It is not a backlash, it is a dig in. How do I clear it? Thanks.

buzzed bait you are right, i am semi new to fishing and a dig in sounds like a good description of what i am dealing with, i was fighting a fish and the braid dug down into my spool.

When I try to pull the line off, I can only pull so much, and where the line stops I can't get to.

Spooled a quantum smoke 151 with thirty pound suffix 832, used a 30 yard bps mono backing. I tried to keep the line fairly tight while spooling. When fishing a frog the line tightened and I can't get to the spot. How do I remove this, thanks

This weekend, I will be fishing a 100 acre lake shaped like a rectangle. It is man made and has an average depth of 6 feet, with a max depth of 15 feet. There is a dam on one end with rocks. The other end has grass. Got some bites on the frog there last night. the past couple of days it has been in the high 80s. I think the water is around 70*. along the bottom of the lake is thick weeds that get caught in everything. I think I'm post spawn because i got zero bites along the bank. Any advice is great.

I understand that it is an anadromous form of the Rainbow Trout, which is a very popular fish to target in Pennsylvania. I have been unable to find out if it is endangered or threatened or neither.
