I am getting a 6.3:1 Cabela's Arachnid Reel and a 7'1" MH Tournament ZX Rod. I am leaning towards PLine CXX in 12 or 15 lb test. I like 15 pound so i can tie a 12 lb fluorocarbon leader. this combo is for my moving baits. thanks for help and advice.

it was making a loud noise and would stop spinning as fast hallway through the cast, which decreased casting distance, also it was dropped in the water by accident.

as some may know my cursed Quantum Smoke bait cast reel is a disaster and its mostly my fault. i tried to take it apart a little bit and now my drag star won't go on right. any advice or good videos to watch to help?

I recently purchased a bait cast reel. I accidentally dropped it into the water. now it is ultra loud and does not cast very far. i also lost the spool tension knob due to a faulty bearing clip. the loud part(s) are in between the drag and the spool area. I'm not sure how to access it and find out what is wrong.

I recently tried to take apart my bait casting reel. It is the Quantum Smoke 151. I took it apart because it was not working, as one of the parts broke. I was careful not to lose any parts. I am having trouble getting the piece that is a star which controls the drag (star drag) onto what I believe is the crankshaft. I am not sure. The schematic does not show the two parts together, but i am sure they're right, cause where else would it go. The problem is that they are two different shapes. any help is appreciated.

I recently purchased a Quantum Smoke PT 151 6.6:1 for 100$ I put 30 pound braid on it it and planned to use it for every thing. The reel doesn't work at all and I am going to sell it. What reel is affordable but good?
