i like my smoke rod i use it for anything from jigs plastics frogs or spinnerbaits if you are gettin the rod for crankbaits i would get the rod every 1 else said

I bought alot of this braid 2 spools of 30lb and 2 spools of 65lb I really like power pro and sufix but i got this stuff at buy 1 get 1 free was wondering how this braid is anybody use it

i would just get the normal zillion you dont need the all red 1 unless you are going to store it and not fish it

i have put them on jigs and texas rigged them and caught fish using both methods im sure a jig head would work also

I had the gold carrot stick used it for about a year and broke the rod in my car door aftwer looking at the last eyelet my braid had almost sawed all the way though it . That was the old series before the mico guide 1s. I use braid 100% of the time and that is the only rod i have ever had a problem with i owe many different brands and have a smoke rod with micro guides and havnt seen any issues

i am in maquoketa and fish hurtsville pond not much luck there everybody keeps everything they catch even though sign says they have to be 18 inches i mostly fish the mississippi river pool 12 i also have a few decent spots of the maquoketa river i fish would like to try those places around davenport but dont know where they are i never go to davenport and would like to meet up with someone and fish them

If you are a good with a bait caster then i would lock all the brakes off. It is way different then shimano 2 pins and your ready for anything i needed all four off to cast far.

I have a lews tournament pro speed spool, a curado 200e5, tdz 100m, zillion 100sha, and a sol. The lews works just a good as any of my other reels and i really like the swept handle and knobs. My least favorite is the sol.

I had the gold series great rod. When the rod broke was looking at the last eye and my braid had almost sawed all the way though. Would i buy a neither sure if they changed the eye material.

I was fishing with my brother about 2 yrs ago looked on the other side of the pond we were fishing. Seen something in the water I had him go over to see what it was there was a snapping turtle the size of a metal barrel top thrashing around in the water. My brother grabbed it bye the tail and lifted it up and there was a neither turtle the same size they where hooked head to tail with each other. I would guess both males fighting the scary part was my brothers hand was inches i mean inches from one mouth and with in easy range of the other.

im pretty sure theres a big pond in town there was a sidewalk all around it and we took a city bus to get there and you could rent row boats to fish when i was there we fished for trout with worms like 15 yrs ago so i dont know if its still there or if it would be worth while

I quit for a whole year using a e cig but not a day went bye that i didnt crave the real thing.I relapsed and smoking again. It sounds terrible but I enjoy smoking or maybe I just havnt made up my mind to quit. I wish you the best of luck

I talked to someone at daiwa and they said to send the rod in with what happened. They would look at rod and decide if the warrenty would covered it.I have the rod for over 2yrs. and fished with it alot.Was just worried they wont warrenty the rod and then im out a rod which is about 2 inches shorter then it should be. I dont know where i heard that bass pro would replace the rod.

My steez rod broke the other day while fishing what is the best way to get it replaced. I heard you can take it to bass pro and they will replace it. I dont have a reciept though. Is my only option to send it back to daiwa and take a chance they wont honor the warrenty

i had the 7 foot heavy i wanted a rod that would do it all from throwing shallow cranks and the way up to dd22 . this rod would do that plus much more worked great as a spinnerbait rod top water frog rod tackle tour did a great review of that line on rod check it out when there site is back up
