  3. every tournament. i have on 1 crankbait. 1 topwater. 1 senko. 1 jig. 1 chatterbait/spinnerbait. and 1 texas rig. ill usually have another rod and depending on what weve been catching them on, have it rigged up with that.
  4. 750 credit score is good enough to get any loan at about the best rate BUT it really depends on your annual income and debt to income ratio to determine if your a high risk or not. i know a guy thats disabled and his credit score is around 720 but his annual income is to low due to disability. for a big loan good luck tho and when you go for the loan. they usually make sure you have enough to get it licensed and transferred. sometimes theyll even write a seperate check out of your loan just for that reason the bigger down payment you put the higher the chances of a loan will be in most cases. and id say anything from 18 to 21 should be good for most lakes. id like a 20 or 21 ideally for giant lakes. but 19 for all around would be fine IMO
  5. my guess was 4.5 i really need to invest in a good scale
  6. the hardest part is getting the old carpet off amd cleaning all the glue. laying the carpet is fairly simple if your a do it yourself kinda guy go to youtube. lots of good videos on it
  7. i seriously recommend custom handtied jigs. you can buy them just about as cheap if bot cheaper than name brands and you wont regret it. bass baits buy and barter on facebook is a really good group
  8. thats what i was torn between. when i had a duckett and a denali. the duckett seemed so much more unbalanced when next to the denali. but i never had a problem with either until now. ill stick with the denali unless any other problems happen
  9. just snapped my denali j2 rod about 6 guides down. has never been stepped on and put away after using it. i got it june last year only used it a couple months before i stopped my fishing season. this year ive used it a few times. went out to a pond to mess around. and snap it 6 eyes down while setting the hook on a 3 lb bass (managed to get the fish in) not sure if i want to exchange it, return it and get a duckett. or return it and get a couple diawa or berkley rods. i really liked the feel of the rod and the sensitivity. not sure what happened. would you switch or exchange it? i have a couple other denalis but have no issues with them
  10. another one for 15# seaguar red label
  11. buy some custom jigs from a someone and you wont regret it. i started making my own, and selling them and have had 0 issues with paint chipping after i bake them
  12. i always put mine in from the outside and take out after every trip. i do forget to put it in a couple times every year, havemt this year yet (knock on wood) but i just reach over the edge and screw it in or if its warme enough just jump in the water and screw it in. have never had a plug come out on the water
  13. ill check it out. i most post a pic of the hook later i used yeah thats the hook i was looking at. much wider than the ones im using. thanks for reply
  14. what type of hook do you like for tubes? ive been flipping them but it seems like my hookup ratio is way down compared to my other soft plastics. and im doing everything the same. its like the hook is barely hooking them and then they pull off has happen 4 times this year already. the ones do hook its barely in the skin on the mouth like not enough of the hook is popping. i was using a trokar ewg hook. do i need a wider gap hook? what hook do you recommend?
  15. the floor of the boat seems to be the most common. i only really keep needle nose out. so i just lay them by me. or stick them where the seat goes
  16. justt wondering how many of you use a seat when fishing whether it be a butt seat or with a back rest? one of the guys i fish with asks me how i can stand all day long. i personally do not use a seat ever except for when jumping spots. i think it takes up to much room on the front deck and allows me to relax to much and miss bites.
  17. green pumpkin or black and blue
  18. i was gonna try and take a pic and count every bass i caught this year. but the second one i caught i threw back without even thinking about it. on most days its too tough for me to count without losing focus of my fishing. the only time i have sucessfully counted was with my buddy on a small lake in late spring. we had 63. they were eating that day
  19. dont know weight. 20 inches exactly. on a tube in 2 feet of water
  20. first trip out going for bass in 2016. with unusually high temps for this time of year the water was 48-50 degrees throughout most of the lake.. ending up catching 6 which i am very pleased with due to the high winds. wasnt able to fish most of the main lakes without being pushed to hard. caught 3 on a jig. 1 on a jerkbait. 1 on a shakey head off a small point. and 1 on bandit 200. winds were averaging 20 mph for the hours i fished with gusts up to 30. did end up finding what appeared to be a road bed or hump not really sure though (a buddy said he thought there was a road bed out there but it didnt really look like one to me.. will take pic next time) going from 20 feet quickly up to 10 with a small flat at 10 before going back out to 20. there was fish holding on it but due to the highwinds was unable to hold my position long enouh to fish it as well as i would have liked. will be going back out this weekend and the winds should be down. hope to catch a couple off of it. and a pic of my first bass of the season. been so long since i caught one it felt like a 3 pounder
  21. i believe its fairly easy to import them on the unit. i believe you need to go to files then select the right memory card and import data. and you should be set. as for the mac. i have no idea
  22. dont really throw ribbontail worms much anymore. will probably pick one back up and try it this fall. i throww pretty much a variety every year depending on season but just about everything i own. i give a fair share of time in the water
  23. when you figure it out. give me the answer
  24. save phace is the way to go. never had an issue fogging up. makes those long cold runs bearable
  25. yes i read you can dry them out buy putting in microwave for a few seconds after i googled it.
