BBZ 1 Shad Slow Sink
I know people who can catch fish with them, however I am not one of those people. ;D I have had two of them since they were available and have yet to catch a fish on it. :-[

Rage Tail. Epic Fail.
Jeez... IIRC, you did this same BS with Conway Custom Rods on SBN because they didn't get back to you. Let me be the first to tell you this: People have lives that don't necessarily revolve around you. One PM? That is very kind of you to take time out of your day to send one single PM. How about re-sending it or making a thread with your suggestion. I have talked to Steve on a few occasions, both on the computer and in person. In my experience, he makes every effort to accomodate as many people as possible. Not everyone will be happy and not everyone will get a reply. It is not because he is ignoring you, it may simply be that your PM got lost in the shuffle. Having issues with the baits is one thing. Making statements such as "didn't even bother to respond" is another issue entirely. The funny thing is, even with you saying something like this, Steve would be more than likely to help you if you ever asked him a question. Not that you would "bother." :

Starting to lose patience...
I buy from both, but TW has something for my trolling motor that I absolutely need. I will likely place an order with both. BTW, pretty disappointed that TW is only doing 15%. :-/

Minn Kota Customer Service
Just wanted to give credit where it is due. I broke my TM last weekend and called Minn Kota on Monday. The rep I talked to not only knew exactly what parts I needed (after I described them), but he also answered my questions regarding disassembly/reassembly. Happy to continue using their product.

I want...
Wearing those would confirm the man-love between you and Tommy. I would pay to see the look on your face the first time your foot slipped forward in them and the little dividers cut into the webbing between your toes.

Speedwell Forge, PA
Find the scenarios I mentioned above and throw the bait you have the most confidence in. Throwing something that works for me may very well not work for you. Let me know how that place is after you get back. I'm always up to try a new spot.

Speedwell Forge, PA
LOL, you wont hear this from many PA guys, but swimbaits for me. Jigs, *** and other T-rigged plastics could work as well. There are so many variables, it's hard to say for sure.

Speedwell Forge, PA
Never heard of it until now. Looking at pics on the PA fish commission website, appears just like any other state owned lake. I would look for spawning flats. If you find empty bass beds, I would look for bluegill beds and fish the outer edges of those.

Broken T-bar on Minn Kota Endura 55
I spoke to them a little while ago. Apparently, there are just a few pins to punch out and the part is relatively easy to replace. The part cost me $.67, unfortunately shipping cost me $10. : If they dont get you coming, they get you going. I got three of them coming to me now. Thanks for the reply.

Broken T-bar on Minn Kota Endura 55
I wasn't paying attention last weekend and ran aground carrying some pretty good momentum. I snapped the two tabs off the T-bar (the thing that locks the motor in place on the mount). I have tried to contact Minn Kota directly, but the line is always busy. Part No. is 2063605 I guess my real question is: How difficult is it to replace this part? There are no visible threaded bolts to unscrew; they appear to be pins that must be punched out? Hopefully someone has some expertise in this area. I am sure I am not the first person to break these tabs off. Thanks in advance. Wayne

spawning bass
I agree with backing off and coming back later. I would throw a bluegill swimbait from different angles and mixing up retrieves. If there are that many spawning bass in the area, one will come to hit the lure. Bet on it.

Garrr, there be pirates on Falcon!
The number is higher than you think, Sam. You just never know anymore. There was a thread a little while ago discussing that exact subject. Quite a few voiced their choice to carry.

Must-have swimbaits
this brings up another question.... why wouldn't you use 80lb braid instead? It seems to me that it would be a lot less likely to break off a $55 lure. Just askin'... I fish from a boat. Not an issue to go get it unstuck. I use braid to throw some topwaters, but have seen no need for braid in sinking baits. I guess visibility and rocky structure make me shy away. 20lb CXX is some crazy strong stuff. Trust me, I have gone wading for some of my stuff. I absolutely HATE to lose baits. You will seriously like and catch fish with the Hardgill. If you throw it and don't like it, people will buy it from you very quickly. As far as losing it, maybe on a backlash/line snap. The way I fish the SS gill, it is very unlikely to hang up. I usually burn and rip it over weeds or on the weed line.

Hello all
Glad to see you decided to sign up. Sent you a PM on SBN. I would like to hit up Redman sometime with ya.
