  1. Hey guys, I have found out that skirted jig heads with a crawdad trailer work really well in the lake I fish at in Omaha, Nebraska. I have a baitcaster reel, but I do not have a good rod whatsoever. I was wondering what rod and line I should be using? I was thinking a 7 foot medium heavy, fast action graphite rod? I use about a 1/4 ounce to 1/2 ounce skirted jig head with a trailer on it. I also use a Texas rigged worm in the middle of the summer. I am not looking to spend a lot of money so if you have a cheaper recommendation for a reel that'd be great, however, hit me with whatever you guys have. I'll listen to anything. Right now I'm thinking possibly of the Shimano Selllus casting rod SUC72MH or SUCX72MH
  2. Hey guys I have a lake by my house that has big bass in it. The only problem is that the bottom is completely covered with moss and weeds and the water is very dirty. I've had some success with a 7' worm on a Texas rig, but I'm sure you guys can come up with some better bait ideas for me to pull out the 5+ pound monsters I've seen in the lake. Here is a picture attached of the lake. The water isn't this clear throughout the lake though. https://imageshack.us/i/pmHDXzDPp
