Taking my 9yr old daughter on her first trip to Toledo Bend this weekend. This will be her first time fishing with me in a boat on a large body of water. She is stoked and I don't think I can be more excited. She has a brand new Zebco 33 Classic and I hope to get her on a few fish. Will be in lanan bay. Wish us luck! Will post our results next week.

Good Morning Gents, Just signed up to the site and have enjoyed reading your post. I also fish the bend regularly and will be headed up Sunday after Easter dinner. We have a family camp near the lanan area and have been doing pretty decent in the 1215 area. I figure since the rain and with the water being murky a chatterbait will come in to play. Your thoughts???
