i was fishing a big crankbait for suspended bass but i forgot i my pole so i used an extra ultralight pole of my dads and hooked into a bluegill that felt huge on that pole when i got it to the boat my dad was taking it off and i smacked a bug off my leg and got the treble hook lodged into his hand

Ive never had good luck with a pop-r or a sammy but a topwater that works for me is a LPT Zellamander from YUM fished with an unweighted rig Ive caught about 5 3lb bass using that technique

quite recently i have had good luck at dusk fishing buzzbaits around docks and weedbeds but i like fishing a senko or a nightcrawler imitation at dawn either in deep water or just in front of lily pads

I was fishing a little stream for the first time, looking for some trout but i caught two 14' smallmouth bass and several bluegills I have also caught crappie perch bass creek chubs suckers shiners and a snagging hook with about a 4' long sinker on it

i also love pike and musky but i hate all the bones
