Brock Lesnar?
Here's a link. He had surgery for the intestinal disease/injury. Its apparently still a toss up on if he'll be able to fully recover. The doc said its been giving him problems for a year. So if he hasnt been fighting at 100% but still been dominating, imagine what he'll be when he hopefully comes back and is 100% http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/news?slug=dw-white111809&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

The CMA
I loved the duet with Kenny Chesney and Dave Mathews even though Chesney usually just ticks me off, I love that song. I absolutely love the old-timey sound of Jamey Johnson and he's my favorite artist at the moment.

Wow
Janzen Jackson has been having a spectacular freshmen season and last week was named SEC Freshmen Of The Week and was seen by many as Eric Berry's heir apparent at the safety position for the Volunteers. Definitely had a bright future, but thats all gone now. Nu'Keese Richardson was having a descent season and definitely had a lot of potential but thats all gone too. Dont know much about Mike Edwards but still very stupid. All 3 of these guys definitely had potential and it just goes to show how one dumb@$$ decision can end all you've got going for you.

WAR FEDOR
u must be new to MMA fighting Ha, no. Just goin for the underdog here. Rogers has a ton of power and I think knowing this is the biggest fight of his life will bring out something in him. Trust me I know Fedor is a bad mother. Rogers put hands on Andrei Arlovski and I think that says SOMETHING. Yeah but Fedor walked right through Arlovski as well. I say Fedor by submission with the fight not even getting to the 3rd round

My JWC experience
Well guys I know i haven't been on in probably a month or two, I've just been so tied up with school and football among other stuff. Well this past week I fished In the BASS Junior World Championship on Lake Yale (part of the Harris Chain) in Tavares, FL which coincided with the adult federation nation championship. I would like to start by seeing that all my expectations were completely blown away. The folks at BASS did an amazing job. Well alright, I'll go ahead and get to the fishing part. I got into Tavares on Wednesday spent the night and practice began on Thursday. I arrive at the boat yard and meet my partner, Ross, who won the older age group of the Souther Divisonal back in April on Gaston. While at the boat yard I find out me and ross drew the nicest boat there. a 21ft Skeeter with a 250hp Yammy with a sick Toyota Tundra wrap on it being pulled by a wrapped Tundra truck. So we were like "well if we dont catch nothin at least we'll be ridin hot" LOL and also we find out that our boat captain is the editor of Bassmaster Magazine, James Hall. This guy is a class act and one of the funniest guys I've ever had the oppurtunity to be around. Well once we got on the water we pulled up on a spot we'd marked on GPS that we thought would be good. We pull up and me and Ross both start getting bites left and right. That morning we had decided we were only gonna stick one fish at each spot then not set the hook on anymore. so we probably had 7 or 8 bites apiec on this one spot and throughout the course of the day we cover basically the whole lake with a pretty good idea of how we'd spend the tournament day. Well come the morning of the tournament we blast off and head to our first spot. Ross catches two good fish within 20 minutes on a buzzbait so then i picked one up. I caught 1 good keeper on the buzzbait and had 2 or 3 more blow up on it and hooked and lost one that was an easy 6-7lbs :'( :'( so we steadily work that area for about another 30 minutes and im able to pick up 1 more keeper and Ross 2 more. By the end of the day I had only 3 keepers and Ross had 4. We get to do the weigh-in just like the adults, we ride up in the boat behind the truck through the weigh in line which was really cool. Well i weighed mine and it was something like 3lbs 9oz or so and Ross' 5 bag was around 5 or 6. Well the winner in my age group endded up being only 4 bass weighing in at 5lbs even weighed in by John Duarte of Maryland. And it broke my heart cuz i knew if i could've caught just one of those buzzbait fish I lost I most likely would've won the tournament. But hey and i dont mean to be cliche but thats why the call it fishing and not catching. In the older age group, Jake Cook of Washington completely lapped and blew away the field with a limit of bass weighing right at 14lbs. (2nd place was only about 6 1/2lbs) Jake did something COMPLETELY different than everyone else. He used a deep diving crankbait in about 12 feet of water on brushpiles to catch his fish. His bag was actually bigger than all but one weighed in on the adult side that day. I ended up 5th out of 6 guys but ya know what? Although I'm dissappointed i didnt win, 5th in the world is pretty dang good if u ask me. I hope to make it back to the JWC one day but if I dont, Im super happy I got to experience and participate such a great event.

Chargers Merriman arrested on assault charges
Really stupid on his part. His career seems to be on a down turn with the injury and subsequent surgery, now this. Hopefully he can get back in the game because he's a dominant force when healthy

Nice start for the Vols!!!
I know its WKU but they're still a D-I school. We're not gonna be great by any means this year. I predict about 8 wins. But it looks like we have 4 good RB's and this was a good game for Crompton to get his confidence up by throwin 5 TD's GO VOLS!

UFC 100 (tonight) Predictions
Pretty awesome night of fights! I didnt get a chance to watch the undercard fights but did catch all the MAincards Yoshi Akiyama and Alan Belcher was a great fight. Dan Henderson's KO was SICK! Lesnar straight up dominated Mir with his pure strength. Then the GSP vs. Alves fight was super lopsided. I expected GSP to win but not by that much. Then the Fitch Thiago fight was great too. I think and hope St. Pierre's next fight will definitely be at 185. I just dont see how theres much more for him to acccomplish at 170. I dont like Lesnar that much but honestly after seeing him demolish Frank Mir i dont think theres anyone in the Heavyweight division that can compete with him right now.

Steve McNair found dead
whatever the story behind all this, the whole sports world, not just the NFL has lost a true warrior. We have season tickets to Titans games and when i was little Steve was my favorite player. His carreer was dotted with more injuries than anyone could imagine. But he played no matter what. He'd bee to the point where he wouldnt practice for weeks at a time because of his injuries, but you could bet he'd be out there on Sunday playing and winning with the pain. His tougness symbolized what a NFL should be like. His stats didnt show his true impact because the Titans were always a run first team. And in '03 when they finally started airing it out more, what happened? Co-MVP of the league with Peyton Manning. Its truly sad that he wont get to enjoy being able to wake up on Monday and be able to get out of the bed without the pain. And wont get to see his kids grow up or any of thes e things he deserved. :'( R.I.P Steve "Air" Mcnair :'( 1973-2009
