If the cold fronts ever stop coming and the wind will lay down just a bit the big girls will start moving up into the grass beds along US 27. Pitching and flipping black and blue worms and jigs work well as do frogs buzzed over and through the grass. Early this month I caught 7 between 2.5 and 4.5 lbs but the next day I could not buy one - just depends on the day.

I really like the Shaky 2 heads but I modify them with an Owner screw lock. They really hold the bait securely even the Yamamoto baits.

I've won two tournaments using this technique. It works when nothing else seems to. You also don't have to use finesse worms for it to produce. I have used 3/8 heads with Yamamoto's cut tail worms with great results.

Too bad your wife can't fix your old body!!! You could be doing alot more fishing. As soon as you are able, call me and I will help you break in that newly repaired shoulder - again. Fishing here in the ridge area should be picking up by then.
