Yea, she was asking me why it had red eyes, and honestly, I didn't know.

Took my girlfriend out to Crooked Creek lake outflow near Ford City, PA. This is the first bass she's ever caught, and I think I was more excited than she was. Nothing huge, but exciting moment for me! She caught it on a large shiner, after saying "these are too big, nothing will bite on them." Haha! My next step is to get her to actually touch the fish...

Went out on the Allegheny river flyfishing with a guide today and landed this nice smallmouth!

I like fishing on lakes or my canoe with company, but if I'm wading a creek or river, I like being by myself and work my way upstream at my own pace.

My go to is find an area with standing timber, or lots of logs sticking out of the water. That always helps produce nice fish for me.
