  6. Hey guys, My fishing partner and I want to try a southern lake to start out our year, looking to fish in mid april. we are looking at Virginia, North or South Carolina or Tennessee. We Live in Philadelphia Pa. We both like fishing weeds and are looking for a lake that is med. in size 10,000-20,000 acres. We normally fish Lake Champlain.   7. Hi Mark, Do not stay at the Days Inn at the Brewerton exit. I did in aug. and when checkout time came they could not find my conformation for the room because they changed software and it ended up costing me an extra 150.00 Try the exit south of brewerton , I think its Cerio or something like that there is alot of restaurants and I think a super 8 there also. Thats where I will be staying from now on. I think its a straight run to your boat ramp. Paul I am thinking of going up eary june also.

  10. Hi MJ I was wading just north of harrisburg this past friday with my friend tony and we did fairly well. I got 14 and tony caught 9 but all his were over 2lbs and 3 were very nice size. Fishing the ledges with 4" sinko brand sticks and gammy finnise hooks 1/0. I'm going back up this friday. Paul
  11. I fished the lake 3 years ago. 3" grubs, 4" power worms camo. Bass were everwhere they were suposed to be. Watch out for the Moose they are everywhere also. Had a great time. Paul
  12. I had a 1101 used it on my tube, worked good for depth and bottom, then upgraded to a 4200, 4200 is more like a real depthfinder. Paul

  14. Hi Again, Now that I know my 844 is not a crankbait rod, let me ask this. In loomis spinning rods which would be a good crackbait rod? I have a sjr782, and a smr882 would any of these?   15. Hi Everyone, My first post. I am getting started with Baitcasting. I bought a MBR844C rod and looking at a CTE200GT reel for it. I plan on using it for deep cranks or when this spring I am planning a trip to Santee Cooper fishing in the weeds. What do you guys think of this combo? Thanks Paul
